You stated that he has "elite" hand usage, but as a former D-line coach, I can confirm that he has what coaches call "alligator" or "t-rex" arms. He uses his hands well in confined spaces, but the problem is, he puts himself in that position by not firing his arms out. Much in the same way O-linemen need to fire their arms, so too do D-linemen. They need to get them out in front, and then, it gives them an array of moves from which to choose from. But, he doesn't do that. His arms are by his side much of the time, when he's right up on his man, and it forces him into having to use the same move over and over again. While he can get away w/ that in the Pac-12, in the League, they'll catch on much quicker and will be much more adept at defending against it. When you make yourself a one-dimensional rusher, you put yourself at a deficit. Luckily for him, he is a talented, smart player, and this is something he can overcome by learning the proper skillset at the next level.

Bruh he's known for having more moves than any pass rusher in this class. He doesnt use the same move over and over lol

Future Detroit Lion. Holmes will move up and and pair him up with Hutch. Those two with Dj Reader and Alim Mcneil will be a top 5 DL

about his setting the edge .. it depends on the defensive front he is in. In a 3-4 he would be perfect as he can rush and drop back in coverage.

Came here from talking giants, this guy is dope but I can’t see us taking him

Don’t see him as an option at 6

@@JMFootball I agree, that’s what I was saying. He’d be dope but there’s much better prospects

I liked this kids tape but he has to get stronger. Hes also soft and apprehensive at the point of attack in run. I think 2 years in an NFL weight room will do wonders for this kid. Other than that, he's a great prospect.

ucla had the best run defense in their history. Latu was just fine.

Jared verse from ualbany is better. Hes the clear #1 edge this draft, even over turner. I dont think latua is strong enough to make impact at the nfl level. His ass is small and arms are weak. He wont be able to do this against good nfl tackles like andrew thomas
