We finally found it. This was the place where the witch lived. We need to find the book as fast as possible. I didn´t want to think about what would the witch do if she found us in her lair...
This place made us all feel uneasy, the shadows were moving unnaturally, the sculls on the shelves watching us.

I create ambiences with original music. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I sometimes venture into sci-fi, horror, history, or plain (but beautiful) natural settings.
I am heavily inspired by books, as I am a total bookworm, by PC games and DnD which my husband loves and talks about. I love long cross-country hikes, that feel like a huge adventure and you can see it in the number of traveling ambiences I produce 😀

I love watching magical creatures fly through the forest, seeing their spectacular light trials linger fleetingly behind. I see a witch out and about, but making her way home as the sun falls. I wonder what she will be cooking for dinner. If I bring her some firewood, might she invite me in? Maybe we could sit by the fire and she will talk of all the magic they’ve seen whilst living there. Maybe teach me a spell or two. In the meantime I shall sit close by and watch for what happens next. Should I fall asleep, I will dream of what magic tomorrow brings.

Yes, the skulls . . . this was all too easy. No doubt her lair is brimming with traps; the witch would never leave the powerful book--her most prized possession--unprotected. Sometimes the best hiding place is the most obvious . . . or dangerous. I'm surprised we haven't set any traps off yet, though. There's something off here. Six Fingers, a most-talented and begrudgingly well-respected thief in town, bailed on us. I suspected he might, but against my better judgement, I caved to my companions'' insistence that he wouldn't let us down. With his skill and experience, we might have been making our way out of this god-forsaken place by now . . . Six Fingers . . . by the gods that blasted thief! "Everybody, we need to track down the thief," I called. "The book isn't here. . . . Not anymore." Thanks for this wonderful music--one of my favorites!!

To be honest, I don't have a favorite from the latest ones... There is always a small detail in each, that I like. In this one, I spent more time than usual on the visual effects, so I am fond of those. And also some of the darker melodies, it was a nice change. 😊

My friend recently introduced me to a movie called "The Love Witch" and if you're into dark witch stuff it's an amazing movie. Fair warning though, there is lots of nudity and some sexual violence a couple times.

Um actually real witches understand the word "dark" to mean the receptive feminine powers of the universe, or the Yin as complementary to the active, male Yang. Pretend witches and ignoramuses though understand the "dark" to be somehow evil. Just the way it is I guess.
