I created some upbeat ambiences lately, I thought it was about time to create something darker.
It put me in the mood for Abhorsen books.
This video could serve as a grim dark fantasy background for D&D or as an ambience for writing or reading horror books.

I create ambiences with original music. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I sometimes venture into sci-fi, horror, history, or plain (but beautiful) natural settings.
I am heavily inspired by books, as I am a total bookworm, by PC games and DnD which my husband loves and talks about. I love long cross-country hikes, that feel like a huge adventure and you can see it in the number of traveling ambiences I produce 😀

@user-lx8rp3vu6m one of the most beautiful Dungeons & Dragons campaigns to ever exist. Think of Strahd as Dracula, and Barovia as Transylvania. But Strahd is sooo much more cursed, along with ALL of Barovia. Great game

Oh, yes, the darker the better :) Yet, I find this hauntingly peaceful. I just love the way your music "flows." It's pulling me deeper and deeper almost without me realizing it. Just love it! 🖤

@@MartiasMuses do you guys find peace at graveyard??? among the dead? fresh smell of soil? i also find harmony at stormy weather at seaside....calmly standing still,harmony within the air and sea...sea has more dead bodies as you ve ever imagined...and unkown...

Reminds me of a giant mausoleum, like back in the past of some of the really wealthy old families had. They were so elaborate and complex for a place to store dead bodies that is. Super great ambience and vibe from this. The wind effect sound is really good and the music part blends in very well and doesn't seem intrusive or like tacked on.

Now, no longer the bright and airy student I once was... just a decrepit old necromancer with nothing to show for it. May my love forgive me what I have done..."

Hey just though I'd say, really love this ambience, gets me in the mood for creating content or just general relaxation, fell asleep to this last night. I also reminds me of merunes dagon plane in Oblivion & some of the structures in skyrim, gives me daedra vibes :) I'm in the middle of creating a comic strip based on my Hogwarts legacy character but making the foes far more of a threat... this is a short & its about me saving two magical beasts caged in the forbidden forest & slaying 2 poachers..though I do take damage & I have them using Unforgivables on me. ( I say its a short but it has like 50 panels 🤣& I'm using the back of receipts, sketching down quick scenes) Will be coming up with more ideas such as my origin story was going to have the poachers ( foes of the game) kidnap my pets & kill a family member cliche I know. But gives me alot more reason to go after them than just " The chosen one trope" the games reasoning, since we never actually got any BG info in the game but I'm really in to this idea just now. Just thought I'd share this I know loads of people probably don't give a sh** maybe others will, perhaps it might give others inspiration to create to. Again Thank you for this it is appreciated greatly :)

I'm ashamed to say I discovered your Ali-Baba's cave recently. But the discovery is worth of it! Dark, gothic atmosphere, visually and musically. As odd as it can seem, I would be so happy to live in your imaginary dark countries. Every detail is rich of so much possibilities. I am and always been a huge fan of horror, gothic fantasy literature. H.P. Lovecraft is one of my masters in horrific realm. Actually, I read a marvelous anthology with some of classic gothic horror novels: The Castle of Otranto, by Horace Walpole, Vatheck, by William Beckford, The Monk, by M.G. Lewis, etc. Your gloomy ambiance is just perfect to put me and keep me in the right mood while I'm delighting of this literary refined feast. Thank you so much for sharing the «poisonous» fruit of your wonderful work. I'm discovering more and more of your dark gems. And each time I'm eager to discover the next. 👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Adorn with grand statues of heroes, angels, and knights that protect every gate and archway. And no one can walk through the gorgeous halls without laying witness to the gilded scripture carved into every surface. As those divine words remind us of the thousand great triumphs of mankind.
