@@shaunmilor And where did you come up with the idea that he was a meth-head? Just because someone is skinny DOES NOT mean they are doing drugs. Being skinny also comes from not having enough money to get proper nourishment to maintain normal body weight. So if you say he's doing meth then I can only guess that you are a meth-head yourself to come to the conclusion that Craig is just like you.

That's because the authorities wanted Craig's boat off the lake permanently. They thought they finally had their chance to get rid of Craig and his boat. But they didn't count on the kindness of strangers to give Craig the help he so desperately needed.

@@mrwilson7617 47 years ago I was honeymooning on Maui which was much less developed than now. We had rented a 450 Honda MC and had run out of gas. In the middle of nowhere , no cell phones , I was pushing it. A Hawaiian gentleman in a car stopped and said he would get some gas. I hoped for the best but kept pushing. He came back and put 2 gallons in the bike I went to pay him and he said something to me in Hawaiian and I just shook my head and then he said " it is a gift from the heart". I am MOVED by the KINDNESS of your team to help this man. I myself am a 65 year old man and could easily identify with the stranded man you helped. I watched this with holding back secret tears within. Not only was your kindness shown to the world but seen in HEAVEN as God himself looked down upon you thinking to himself WELL DONE THY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT. You and your team just stored up some serious rewards in Heaven as one day we all will stand before the LORD and give an account. WOW is all we could all say and THANKYOU for rescuing him.

It is illegal to live on a houseboat inside the federal park. (All of Lake Mead is Federal land) There's a hole in the boat from the recovery and it's taking on water now. If it sinks, the fines are quite handsome indeed. At last word, the park service wants it off the lake ASAP. There are a few FB groups for Lake Mead boaters following the story. The trick to living at the marina, don't draw attention to yourself.

Hours and hours of work and thinking, more work with little success followed by even more figurin', then more and more work with some success at which point you are exhausted but the end is in view. Then more work until your goal is finally accomplished and that deep, deep down feeling of pride satisfaction contentment joy exaltation overwhelms you like nothing you've ever felt before; and you want to hang on to that feeling forever. We did it! I remember that feeling. I just felt a nostalgic wave of it pass over me and I have you to thank for it. I congratulate you all. You did it!
