Not being racist but The Joker is supposed to be a white character, that would be like someone deciding that a white character should play the character spawn when everyone knows that spawn is supposed to be black. If you're going to make a movie about a popular character then you should try to stick to the roots of the character but not just race but as much as possible. let's say someone decide to make a Superman movie but decided to give Superman blond hair instead of dark hair, it just doesn't fit with the character.
