Wow, six years of $500+ fill ups at the pump would be more than my heart could take...

Non Nono. That $500 is out of the ordinary. R ember I have a 150 gallon fuel tanks so I can go about 1000 miles before fill up.

Great Video! We really enjoyed being along for the ride! Just a quick suggestion- to easily and enjoyably bypass Atlanta with a small time and mileage difference. When northbound out of Florida on 75, take exit 16 in Valdosta and go northwest on GA 133. GA 133 is and is being 4 laned from Valdosta to Albany and is good RV road! Follow 133 to US 19 In Albany and proceed around the Albany bypass where it merges into GA 520 northwest toward Columbus. At Ft Benning enter north into I-185 to LaGrange and at the end- the LaGrange split - stay in the left lane on to I-85 south for about 1/2 mile and exit off I-85 onto exit 18, GA 109 and turn right. Go about 1 mile to the light at the water tank and mall and turn right onto GA 14 the Davis bypass following it past 1 light and 2 stop signs to the light at the intersection of US 27, turn right. US 27 is 4 laned from there to Rome where you pick up GA 53 which is 4 lane back to rejoin I-75 northbound. This entire route is sooooo RV friendly. Relaxing speed run 55-65 the entire way. Absolutely no traffic. Its about 27 miles longer , but when you eliminate the Atlanta parking lot the time comes out about the same. Few traffic lights in small burgs that are nothing, but great for RV speeds. Pretty countryside. Places to stop with an RV along the way are awesome and its just plain relaxing! Reverse this southbound and its a piece of cake. Best secret RV route on the east coast- no Atlanta! Been running this route to and from Sanlan for nearly 40 years with our rig. Safe travels- looking forward to so many more great videos!

Wow thank you for the in-depth directions we really appreciate that. Is there a route like this going south through Atlanta?

@@TheHungryCubanAdventures To go south simply reverse the route- but it avoids Atlanta. That is, get off I-75 at Calhoun, GA53 to Rome, US27 to LaGrange, I-185 to Ft. Benning, GA520 to Albany, then GA133 to Valdosta and back on I-75. In general once you get inside the metro Atlanta area things start to get gummed up no matter which route you take through the city. Sometimes you luck out and don't run into bad traffic- some times you don't. Having lived in the north Georgia and ATL region for going on 50 years now we avoid ATL metro roads like the plague. I and our kids have been rear ended on the major roads around ATL too many times from aggressive non attentive drivers. We use the above route always when traveling north south sticking to this western side of the state on great roads to avoid the ATL region. We love the beauty, reasonable speed and relaxed pace of the route for either north or south travel. If you ever decide to use this route ping me so I can give you clearer precise directions in and around LaGrange for an easy shift to US 27 that avoids much of that city. But I do suggest avoiding any of the north south routes through Atlanta and the metro area with a rig towing. Atlanta motorhome driving while towing = not fun! LOL
