The bench has been riddled with injuries and, Darvin Ham has put them through horrible rotations which doesn’t allow a consistent rhythm or production for the bench but we are getting healthier down the stretch which will most likely balance out the scoring and defensive production.

You're correct, only problem he got to get more playing time. SD needs to start. It just hard to guard people coming on and off the bench. SD starts he will score more points and make a big difference in helping Lakers play teams with quicker guards. Also Gabe play well on defense and seen like he getting around well.

@@JoeyFlores-pn2hv Kings lost Monk (likely 6th man of the year) and have a very hard schedule that looks like it will be a 3-5 or maybe 3-6 not sure how many they got exactly. If we aren't tied with them, we can leapfrog them as well. both Suns and Kings have very hard schedules.

Anyone suggesting this starting lineup change with return of XYZ needs to seriously reconsider their thought process. Our offense has been on fire and is THE reason why the team is in a position to keep playing in the playoffs. You do not ruin the chemistry of starting 5 because XYZ is ready. Its not a problem. Guys like SD, Vincent, Wood, etc should be able to contribute to the bench scoring. What we need is those guys to step up and score and come in for a solid 10-15m and play D.

I think we need to at least consider Vando in the starting lineup for Rui because the defense can be atrocious at times and in the playoffs, defense wins. Offense comes and goes, Rui can come off the bench and help that bench scoring. Personally would like to see AR as well off the bench with SD maybe starting next to Dlo to maximize everything.

Not every Lakers fan is like that. Some are loud and like to voice their opinions about their hatred on LeBron but that doesn't mean that they are the voice of all of us. There are more who care about the name in front of the jersey, not the back. In my eyes, he chose to ride with us and help us succeed. He knew he wasn't going to be welcomed with open arms because of the whole Kobe vs LeBron debate, yet still decided to put on the purple and gold armor. We live in LA, and Kobe is our guy. We were with him through his ups and downs and defended him through all the negativety that the haters bring even to this day. But many of us appreciate the man, especially since we watched greatness for 20 years with Kobe. Real Laker fans care about the name in front of the jersey, not the back. LAKERS 4 LIFE. I keep trying to see the bright side to SD but I knew/know this dude was/is a coinflip. He should be the bench scoring we need. Shouldn't bring him into the starting lineup as many of you want and have suggested just to ruin the already established chemistry and roles of the bunch. He should be able to fit in off the bench and gives us 10-15 but he's inconsistent AF. Never has been a good shooter and that's why I'm not big on him. I like him, but you either get bad Spencer or good Spencer and its no in between. Slight upgrade from Westbrook because his a slightly better shooter and more careful with the rock.
