He hit a couple 3s on the catch (which is how he would see the floor at all), he looked decent on defense, and he had that quick first step all the way into a dunk (Knecht had a similar play which is great to see... we need quicker/explosive) guards. Embiid has looked uninterested on the court for USA. He isn't working very hard and his impact on defense and the boards is almost nonexistent. On the other hand, AD is bearing much of the rebounding rate and one of the more consistent scorers for this team. At this point, he should be starting over Embiid. Also, this team is not very good defensively (hopefully they will get better) but two glaring facts: USA team is small on the wings and not a very good rebounding team! On a team that already had 5 guards, why did they replace Kawhi (at 6'7") with another guard? They made a huge mistake by not choosing Brown over White. They need the help on the boards.

We need to trade for better wings that can shoot 3s. Just look at the Boston summer league team. There is three guys on their squad for example that can shoot well plus finish at the rim. Bruser is the yearly magic Word he Will use over and over to enter less smart people mind with his ideas.. we had "switchy wings", "not a liabilty anymore" and now "bruser".. I quite vomited the fourth time he said it.. now what people dont realize is how him, Jeanie, Pel and JJ are the same kind of matter. And people complaining for Jeanie shouldnt following the Channel, because are the same kind of thing.. how he is lying about bronny being picked by others and deserving a contract is disgusting..

@@RK-ck6pl What's your point? I don't care if Anthony Davis plays the four or the five He just needs another big out there with him so he doesn't have to do it all Namely someone who can rebound the ball so that his defense isn't wasted giving up offensive rebounds/ second chance points
@RK-ck6pl

@@LN-Lifer Lebron is 6 foot 9. That's the same size as Karl Malone. And Bam. He averaged like 8rpg. AD at center had his best season. AD at center won his only chip. He played with Gasol and Drummed and did shit.. had two 7 footers last yr. Played better with Bron. People keep banging the table for another center like there's a good backup center in the league that we could easily get. It would be much smarter to just improve the starting lineup, the perimeter defense is the worst in the league.

Kinect is an off ball shooter for lebron. AR/ is a 1-2
@peteranders7106
@peteranders7106 Ай бұрын
AR is an undersized 3 off the bench, because even rotation SGs blow by him too easily, but he is a step faster than the slightly slower SFs that he can bother the crap out of while being a high efficiency scorer on the other end. It's nice that he has handles to get to a floater and can finish through contact. It's also nice that he can make great connecting passes. But he is not a point guard or shooting guard and certainly not at the starter level. He's on a very solid contract and has great potential, but if you force this guy to be a 1/2, he'll eventually be quite good at that after 4 years of suffering and then the team you trade him to will use him as a 6th man SF off the bench and get 17/6/5 in 28 minutes on 55/42/88 out of him and he'll get 6th man of the year. The Lakers problem has been that they have used everyone to their weaknesses until they were quite good and then handed them to more capable teams that simply build way better lineups. And they keep doing it over and over again. Taurean Prince is a 4 and not a 3. Rui is a 4 and not a 3. Vanderbilt is a 4 and not a 3. Davis is a 4 and not a 5. D'Lo is a 1 and not a 2. Austin is a 3 and not a 2. Gabe is a 1 and not a 2. Wood is a 4 and not a 5. Hayes is a 4 and not a 5. Castleton is a 4 and not 5. Cam is a 3 and not a 2. Max Christie is a 3 and not a 2 and not anywhere near Reaves. Half the freaking roster is playing out of position, because Lebron is a 4 now. Yes AD can really put the hurt on teams finishing them out going small ball next to capable 3&D two-way players. We really still don't have any unfortunately. And Knecht will be a power forward until he is in the third string and no longer used probably. Our actual current depth chart is this: D'Lo / NOBODY (sry Alex Caruso) / NOBODY (sry OGA since AD is a 5 and Lebron a 4 and that's been 100% set for 2.5 years now) / LBJ (sry AD) / AD (sry Thomas Bryant) Gabe Vincent (sry Delon Wright) / AR (sry SG talents) / Vanderbilt (sry AR and Vando and Dalton) / Rui (sry Christian Wood) / Nobody (most overrated missing link ever sry fanbase) JHS (sry Pippen Jr.) / Bronny lol (sry McClung) / Christie (Maxwell who? and sry Dalton we gonna screw you and sry Stanley Johnson) / Dalton Knecht (sry TP) / Nobody (I'm sry we have Hayes) The logjam at PF is mind blowing. The missing size, rebounding and footspeed at SF is insane. The lack of 2-way options across the roster and especially next to D'Lo at SG is utterly absurd. The fanbase trying to find a center that will never get on the court and trying to trade away the only clear cut starting guard we have after he set a franchis shooting record is pathetic. I basically explained this 100 times from last preseason on. It was always going to end this way. With a healthy Gabe and Vando we are still a 5th seed probably, but this roster is possibly the worst put together roster in the LA Lebron era. Nothing we did from the day we send away Zubac made any sense imo.

This site has definitely changed over time. They're moving towards a neutral media environment with the Laker name attached to it. So many neutral takes now with the hope of appeasing guests to come on. When you start having guests on your show, you are now beholden to a certain way of doing business. That's why Trev and Sean can't tell the truth about Austin Reaves. Brining on his brother was just the proof in the pudding. Austin has peaked as a player and should be a 6th or 7th man. He was a 4 year college player and is 26 years old. How many basketball players have you heard of who get better between 26-30 years old?
