I danced at Pilot Rock Oregon for ten years...its been four years...I hear the songs...calling me back...I see my Elders faces...my Sundance brothers and sisters faces...I hear the children laughing...I feel all their tears...it is time to travel...to my beloved Sundance and our relatives supporting there...

Thank u 4 posting this, after 15 yrs dancing, I got disabled n only returned this past summer to Rosebud, by the White River. it is so nice 2 remember all the prayers, all the magic. a singer once told me about the songs, the vibratory levels, etc. n the next yr, sure enough @Crow Dog's Paradise (i took a break that yr from dancing) i witnessed the power go from the drum to the tree n 2 the dancers. pilamaya, wopila my nephews, thanx 4 bringing back those memories, makes an Elder feel real good.

this brings me back to my childhood, I wish I had never been seperated from my roots. I want so badly to go back but have no idea where to begin my quest.. I suppose it is a process. but this is where my "peace" is.

My family have come to know these songs in the hills of Alberta not far from the mountains. The majestic rockies...for 4 years we have been supporting the sundance. We as well have been missing out on so much the red path is ours for the taking - tobacco is there to ask for the teachings that leave with the old ones. Hai! Hai! keep them coming we all pray to same creator cree, blackfoot & our creefoots

Thank you my relatives from the North for post these sacred songs. I'm from Brasil and learning with a lakota medicine man, preparing myself to Hamblecha next year. These year I stayed in the camp as a helper, but I'm sure I received much more than I gave. Mitakue Oyasin!
