Leonid Meteor Shower on November 13, 1833? On Nov. 13, 1833, a meteor shower known as "the night stars fell" became an almost religious event. A Missouri Republic Reported: "The air was filled with brilliant and innumerable meteors, shooting lawless throughout the sky, illuminating the earth, and then passing off to the West." The great Leonid meteor shower of Nov. 12, 1833, in which hundreds of thousands of meteors were observed in one night, was seen all over North America and initiated the first serious study of meteor showers (see meteoritics). Korean war ended July 27, 1953 over 35 years later began 32 years after WW1. Vietnam War began November 1, 1955 - April 30, 1975. Vietnam War 30 years after WW2. War on Terror Iraq-Afghan War began 28 years after Vietnam War ended March 20, 2003 ended 46 years later Aug 30, 2021.
