Sunil Shastri shares anecdotes from his childhood and stories he heard from his
father, Late Lal Bahadur Shastri’s mouth. It’s truly gripping and the earthiness of the
talk is something that you will remember for days to come.
Sunil Shastri is the son of Late Lal Bahadur Shastri and has been an active figure in
the Indian political circuit for the last 35 years. He fought and won the UP assembly
elections from Gorakhpur in 1980. He later went on to be nominated as the
Chairman of the Minimum Wages Advisory Board Ministry of Labor, Government of
India, 1990. He joined the Rajya Sabha in 2002. He also runs a successful trust for the
upliftment of the rural poor through self-employment and providing them
education.
