Yogesh Gaur was the lyricist which Burman Dada engaged for 'Uspaar' (1974) and his last Mili (1975), though there are films released after Mili, which had delayed release. All the songs of Yogesh ji for both films were highly popular, and are liked even today.
In this 'Part Two' of his interview, Yogesh ji tells us about his association with Dada during composition of Mili songs, and Dada's last days. He also tells us how the sittings for all three songs were completed durung Dada's time, and he had the tunes of all the three Mili songs in his tape recorder before Dada became ill.

@jai guru dev, Yes Sudhir, Solid Gold. It is a personal loss to me. A very soft spoken gentleman, he narrated unknown anecdotes in his interview. We all shall miss him. May his soul rest in peace.

@@lalwanimoti ...I used to repeatedly see this post, only today I became aware that Yogesh passed away on 29-05-2020. Superb video Sir......these kind of anecdotes and small small incidents during the sitting sessions in and around the houses, musicians during the recording of those beautiful old songs......these notes are priceless.......in those days no cell phones, if you get a phone call, and you are not there, maybe no 2nd call will come....the job will go to someone else.....like Yogesh ji says.....i couldnt meet Burman Sr. for 2 weeks and Anand Bakshi was on the job...........Thanks Moti ji for this video....looking for many more such f2f sessions will all living folks from the golden era...

@@maheshsukumar Yes dear, I agree with you. To watch these people speak about old times and their memories of those days is like going in to time machine. I still have a few more to edit and share. Time is a constraint, but I'll surely do it for our younger generation to know our heritage. Thanks for comments.

Sushil Jain Aap ki Hindi aur likhna bahut saral aur dil ko choo lene waale hain. Ek Bengali vidvaan professor ne humein bataaya ki Bengal mein Sachin Dev Burman sahib ko sirf gayak ya sangeetkar nahin, ek oonche darje ke kalakar maana jata hai jaise Tagore sahib hain. Aap ko achch laga humein khushi hui.

Other singers too. Nothing new, it has happened to other music directors too. One of the arrangers, when I asked him "Why 'so-and-so' left working in films", put it very nicely, "Kaam koi nahin chodta hai, kaam unko chod deta hai" (No one leaves work, they don't get work). But Burman Dada was one different music director, who kept on saying "No" to producers/directors" and they kept on chasing him till his end.

Very Informative content and loved the information you shared. As far as Asha Bhosle is concerned, she ignored all the men who made her a legend starting from Salil da to OP Nayar to RD Burman. Super selfish and nasty women. Now don't ask me change or edit this time.

@@lalwanimoti Ashaji never disrespected SDB or RDB. I don't agree. Also as u said rightly, people and fans often don't knw the real reason for a particular behaviour of a legend. If a common can get angry at times, the legends too hv the same right. Woh v insaan hai. There must b a reason if sumone (or Ashaji in this case) gets annoyed sumtime.

Jab OP Nayyar sahib ko maloom para ki Sahir ne Burman sahib ke saath ego dikhaya hai aur Burman ne unko drop kar diya hai, to unhonein bhi Sahir ko drop Kiya.

@@chandraprakesh8806 Unke baare mein bahut si baatein hain. Agara koi late pahuncha unke music room to woh unko waapas bhej dete thay, chaahe koi bhi ho. Time ke pakke thay. Koi bhi training nahin thi, phir bhi achcha judgement tha. Jo gaana unhoenin banaaya 'Prretam aan milo', bahut hi beautiful gaana hai, jo unki bibi Saroj Mohini ne likha tha, jo C.H. Atma ne gaaya tha 1945 mein, phir wohi gaana Geeta ne gaaya Mr and Mrs 55 mein. Unki apni family sa anbanat ho gayi thi to woh jaage alag rahe thay apne fan ke paas, aur bol ke gaye ki unki arthi pe unki family ko nahin allow karna. Aisi bahut baatein hain unki. Aap ko Google karne par mil jaayegi. Hum to S.D. Burman sahib mein busy hain. Dono, OP and SD achche mitra thay. Unki ek photo hai jis mein bade prem se gale mil kar khush sekhne mein aate hain. Apna khayal rakhiyga. Thanks.
