An intriguing slow-burn that feels unsettling and comfortable in equal measure, Lamb takes a roundabout approach to revealing its bittersweet story of a farming couple who adopts a unique animal child and fully commits themselves to parenthood - at any cost. It's an undeniably absurdist take on parenthood, but also one that's truly sympathetic and strangely convincing.

THANK YOU! I’m glad someone else said it. Lamb was the only movie I’ve ever genuinely had to fight the urge to leave the theater out of expectation that the final climax would be worth the wait. It was not.

have you not heard of an art film? This isnt an action movie, or a thriller, or even a blatant horror movie, this is supposed to be artsy, its A24, nothing gets explained, nothing makes sense, everything is artsy. Almost anything A24 puts out or creates themselves is artsy in its own regard, nothing is meant to have meaning, you're supposed to draw your own conclusion from it, thats why A24 is so awesome, it gives people the freedom to draw their own conclusions.

Just left the theater and thought this movie was AWESOME. Very unique, incredibly shot, and a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. A lot of heavy themes are brought up if you can get past the surface level absurdity of a half lamb half human. Life, death, grief, family, acceptance, and love are some of the things that it made me think of. Definitely recommend watching. Preferably without any knowledge of what’s to come.

If the IGN movie team is looking for new ideas for filler content between films... maybe we can get a list of top 10 Roland Emmerich movies. His "epic event" films range from awesome to awful... some are popcorn paradise and some are "unpopped kernal stuck in the throat" but we all have a favorite. Could be a fun article/video. Cheers!

Honestly guys, this review was too nice. It's probably one of the worst movies i've seen come out of A24, let alone this year. First, NOTHING happens, and saying it's a horror is not fair to the genre, it plays more as a pretentious drama. The trailer makes it look SO much better then it actually is. The worst part is that nothing is explained, or revealed really. Spare yourself an hour and a half and go watch a comedy instead.
