Phoenix Max yes and no, you can get great at it and play the hole song just by reading the music, and then practice and memorise it, it will also allow you to make the song have emotion!😀

Learn with what works better with you. If you are more of a visual learner, KZfaq tutorials will help you faster than theory would. If you are more of a reading type learner, learning the theory works better.

If this is your first time playing youll want to practice hands seperately until theyre fluent. If you focus on just this song everyday, you can probably get it down in 1-2 weeks. I recommend though learning how to read sheet music, then you can write in fingering, this helps a ton when learning new songs.

If u wanna be able to play better by ear, go for turorials like this. If you wanna be able to read sheets better, then sheets. I suggest that you learn both after a while though ;)
