Let me TESTIFY !!!! It would have been a CHALLENGE to find a more broken marriage than my husband and I. Abuse , addiction , adultery, you name it . Finally at my wits end I LEFT . Literally BEGGING GOD make it ok or make me ok with it . I lived with my Bible teacher for 9 months swearing I'd NEVER go back.... and GOD LAUGHED . 9 months later God sent me back. To a whole new husband . It's been almost 5 years we are both clean regained custody of his now 17 year old son . And Life is Good and FUN TO LIVE . 27:11 I come from a family of alcoholics and dad was an alcoholic but he quit when I was a baby. My dad had a relapse when I was 5 years old and remember seeing him drunk I remember just throwing up and getting really sick just from the smell of alcohol, I don’t know why I got so sick that day it was strange since I was not drinking as I was a child..I tried alcohol in high school and did not like it, and again as an adult I didn’t like it even when I tried to like it. I am thankful God kept me from that addiction. I do have other things that I am battling that are on my mom side that are mental illness like anxiety disorder.

Praise the Lord my husband said he would go to counseling after years of me asking. We’re going to see a Christian counselor and I want to implement the idea of fighting generational curses because both our parents went through divorce. As someone who will never have access to my family tree bc I had a closed adoption at 4 and my father is not on my birth certificate I can honestly say you don’t need to look at your family tree to break generational curses you just need to look at Jesus and get to know him well in all the aspects of his character and in him you will find freedom. Ask him to search your heart and lead you in his way. If you are reborn in Jesus meaning repent of your sins and get baptized as an internal surrender to your Heavenly Father not for those around you but for your commitment to him you will be a a new creation in him even as he works out your salvation in your and you walk in obedience with him till the day he comes for his Bride.

I have a sincere question and normally I wouldn’t take to a platform to ask but I have been following you guys for years now from Southern California. My husband is a believer. But the last six months he has not been reading his Bible or praying and anytime I bring up spiritual things he gets upset or uncomfortable. Slowly, he started making a big deal about me having my responsibilities as a wife and a mother at home and anytime I want to go to women’s Bible study and begin a huge deal . Going to the women’s Bible study and get studying disbanded anyways. And there is a church we were going to that is not a church by any means. But now he gives me grief for trying to go even though he says he a believer he has church and deep, rooted trauma. My questionnaire is I still Church and not be unaligned with my husband. I don’t want to be a disappointment, but I also feel like I need to be sharpened edified and I need to be surrounded by other believers. What is my role as a wife in this situation, I love him very much we get along together we work together , but I love the Lord and don’t want my walk to grow any weaker
