nope, it was the automobile industry. when LA were on the top car sales in the USA drop massively. It wasn't the UCI or WADA that investigated him but the USA doping agency with help with the 3 letter ones. Look what's happening to Trump if you are a threat to the people's power, control and their wealth.

@padmaorganization581 organization that runs these events will want all eyes on them to make maximum profits. The fact that you ignore this is mind-blowing. Plus, people will do anything to gain fame and fortune. This is just humans being humans. Every professional athlete uses PEDs. In every sport code. Not rocket science. You ignore all this because you don't like an individual. Judgemental

Controversy aside the takeaway here is he saying threshold training at around 4mmol lactate was the bulk of his training? Once in the race season the racing would give you the Vo2 max hence no need to add that to training? am I understanding this correctly?

This guy turned cheating into an art form and destroyed the professional careers of even his “friends “ who became aware of what he was doing. He lied about it on national television. I hope he does indeed learn some integrity but I’m not holding my breath. Anything he says should be considered untruthful a priori.

His story was amazing... great up and coming cyclist... get's cancer and he had cancer bad very scary... but recovers by the grace of god and becomes one of the greatest cyclist of all time... one problem he cheated... and I know everyone was cheating... but still the arrogance he went after people not acceptable. And yes those years of Lance on tour were so much fun to watch... I don't think I have watched a whole tour since he left... I just wish they could have caught on to the EPO thing earlier... cycling has almost always been dirty... still was Lance good because he was a great athlete or did have the correct EPO method?

Most riders back then was doing all kinds of drugs to enhance their performance. Even steven. And many of them are in the pro teams in diffrent positions today. So i doubt the sport will be clean, ever. Testmethods has improved, and new drugs is out on the market that hasnt been detected yet... One way to get any result is to give lifeban for the entire team, not just the rider caught. From suits down to mechanics. Collectiv punishment, unfair? No. One rider using drugs, he didnt get those from amazon or stumbled over them on the sidewalk. Lance got his from the teamdoctors, and the entire team knew about this. All riders was on the juice. That culture inside proteams is not gone.

Along with the entire Peloton in those days! US Cycling would not have been able to compete at the European level had they not juiced. There’s no way today’s Peloton are not on something! They are way too fast up those climbs and TT’s. It’s just being masked very well or their on e-bikes hidden very well. Like it or not Lance still had to train, roll up to the starting line and compete…and he did. He will always be a 7 time TDF Champion, no other rider will ever match that, even on PED’s, not going to happen.

@@davidlynch9049 Apparently it’s the European, Spanish, German, Danish, Belgium, Denmark, England way as well! They are the ones who started it! and the list goes on and on! You think Eddy Merckx was clean? He was found positive and expelled from the Giro in 1973! They have all doped over the years, Armstrong just did it better! I’m not justifying anything other than all great cyclist who won the TDF doped at some point during their career. Armstrong became the scapegoat for Pro Cycling because he won 7 in a row, and other competitors rolled on him. Lots of companies and cycling industry made millions off of LA during that season of cycling….namely Trek and Oakley or anything they sponsored or wore. So go ahead and hate all you want but you may as well hate the young talent today as well because I believe they are all cheating even now.

Lance won 7 TDFs. He was a Cheater among many other Cheaters. They've ALL been caught at it...go check the records. Lance only made 1 mistake. He came back for his 8th TDF...... his Ego was bigger than his common sense. He learned that there were bigger and more powerful Psychopaths than him, in the UCI. == All Pro Sports are dirty. I don't believe it. He trained specifically for using the drugs. the style he had is to spin the bike vs grind it because then you're using more cardiovascular systems and not much muscular system. that's because he's taking epo. you can't assume that it's the same if you cheat vs don't cheat. then you can follow the jose canseco workout plan too. the dude after him floid landis won with his hip degenerating. that's your bones. that has to lower your red blood cell production from your bones. and the spinning has to wear our your joints faster. they tell you to train 80/20 or something like that but that's not really how much of each zone you do. that's just the length of the zone. it's like trying to get the same area under the power curve kind of. you only tax a zone 2 system by doing it until you're tired. It might be like this. the red zone training makes you too tired to do sweet spot training at the proper intensity. He's not saying that going into VO2max lowers threshold. he's saying that it makes you too tired to do threshold intensely because it sucks.
