Land Cruiser BJ73, 2H TURBO CONVERSION FINAL PART

We turbocharged a Toyota 2H diesel engine with a Kinugawa CT26 turbo. And placed it in a Toyota Land Cruiser BJ73 that we restored before in our shop. Now we finaly finished the complete car and we are ready to test drive it and adjust the turbo pressuere and the fuelpump.
We are very pleased with the result and i do think it makes simular power as a 12H-T. Also the throttle response is much more smoother on this engine.
For this 2H engine we bought a brand new Kinugawa turbocharger that really does the trick.

@@Wiegman4x4Terschelling Hello. two curious questions. The bj73 all come with the original b3 toyota engine why did you change it? also did you import that bj73 from spain or Portugal? in Europe it's very rare this toyota land cruiser version outside of this two countries.

What throttle body are you yousing?it has three bolts holding the charge pipe on that's cool

I used the original throttle body, we made a flange on it to bolt on the cross pipe

I have the same car with the same engine but without turbo what thermostat referance at 2:56. I want to remove the mechanical fan

Beter let the mechanical fan. We change it back to mechanical

Dear friends I have hj60 with 2H engine. But the problem is overheating. I have changed fan clutch, thermostat, fan, head gasket, coolant liquid, and radiator grill. When I have riding in 50 to 90 km no problem, but in highways in high speed means 100 to 120 km or go up the road or hill the geage up to 110-115 degrees. Can you help me? Thank you

1* do you have a good fanshroud? 2* do you have enough coolant in the system? 3*try to drove without thermostat. 4* also checked your waterpump?

Great setup, i own a 2h HJ60 series, still scary about turboing , so, it will hold on and do not blow out engine?

Nothing to worrie about. Just keep the exhaust tempratures low.

Yes, and turning the fuel a bit down.

With two years driving this rebuilt engine on road, what are the pitfalls, if any ? What is the measured fuel consumption ? Thankyou. PS. 2h over 12ht every day.

Hey mate i think i got the same turbo on my 2h. Would you happen to know the model and brand it is? I couldn't find anything on my turbo. I bought the vehicle like that.

I am sorry but 2 battery's makes 24 bolts isn't it helps start the truck fast or is just because diesel is hard to start on morning because I have a hj45 only have 1 battery thanks for the info

Okay, Bolts are Volts. With 24 Volts you can use a more powerfull starter etc.
