Land Cruiser BJ73, 2H TURBO CONVERSION

We finished the Toyota Land Cruiser BJ73 and decided to install a 2H 4.0 Toyota diesel engine with a aftermarket Kinugawa CT26 Turbo Charger.
The original Italian VM motor was underpowered.
First we refreshed the engine and added new components like waterpump, thermostate, starter etc.
For this we also used the original 12h-t exhaust manifold and intake pipe that connects the turbo to the intake manifold.

Hi, have you tried with vgs turbo? I have try my mazda wl84 with rhv4 vgs turbo, run at 21psi. So good compare to conventional waste gate turbo

Dear Wiegman Group, Hope you are in a good condition. I have some question about Toyota 2H engine, i want to turbo this engine , what is your opinion or your experience? I have an aftermarket Ct26 turbo , if I have turbo my engine , dose it make a problem with my engine life ? How about performance ? Thanks for your helping.

Hello Houman, nou need a turbo 12ht exhaust manifold. And you need a boost and egt meter to adjust the engine.

There is no problem, just keep your exhaust temprature low

@@Wiegman4x4Terschelling I have a BJ40 with a 3B is a great engine over 2milliones KMS running like a new and no electronics!! I love my Toyota I think all 6cilinders from Toyota are a powerful and fiable engines!!
