The U.S. government’s “Prevention through Deterrence” strategy towards migrants from Latin America has led to thousands of deaths since the 1990s.
Jason De León, professor of anthropology at UCLA and award-winning author of “The Land of Open Graves; Living and Dying on the Migrant Trail” will discuss the politics of migrant deaths in Arizona.
