There are no djihadists in Mali. There are terrirists funded by the imperialists. The malian authorities have proofs of french forces dumping weapons in the desert for the terrorists. Discussion of the case by the UN Security Councillor was dismissed by France in 2021.

Great presentation and questioning of the current situations that we have within partisan politics and climate change! As last referenced to, an individual mindset vs. a community mindset is a difference!

Domestic terrorism is design to be complicated, vague and undefine. The reason for that is so they can label anyone as a "domestic terrorist". That way they can have "A war against domestic terrorism" in order "to protect our democracy". First they define what is politically acceptable and what is considered extremist views. Then they vilify anyone whos an "extremist". Its all a bunch of Marxist BS. Jan 6 it was just a honey pot instigated by FBI agents and FBI informants and agent provocateurs. It was a false flag. Meanwhile the left was able to have 500 riots in 2020 and attack the White House and burn down police stations, court houses and take over whole blocks. The left gets a free pass.

Seriously? “Political violence is not considered justified within this country” Really? Where were you in the summer of 2020? It’s one-sided, biased presentations like this, which drive Americans further apart. Vastly exaggerating violence on one side, and completely ignoring real violence in much greater degree on the other side, is disingenuous and dishonest. The answer to people feeling disenfranchised is never to disenfranchise them further, unless you’re an authoritarian. The answer to unwanted speech is not to limit speech, but to have more of it. Unless you are an authoritarian.

Foreclosures are theft when the bank has not made reasonable efforts to avoid it as when interest rates exceed the terms of the Loan Contract, eg an institution not responsible for maintaining the Terms alters then (with impunity). We can change the world because we are the perceived political world of "magical thinking".

There is taxing. There is spending. The US Government does not tax and/or 'borrow' (issue and sell interest-bearing securities" in order to, and so that is able to, spend. The US Government spends in the amounts, and on/for whatever, the US Congress authorizes and appropriates be spent. Whenever it does, it net adds Dollars to the non-USGovt sectors. When it taxes, it permanently removes, eliminates, retires, "unprints" (as it were) US Dollars. So, no, the US Govt does *not* tax (take USD from) the many *to* spend on/give to the few. Its spending and taxing, separately and together, net benefit some and net hurt others.

It's fascinating how he argues for taxing the rich and then totally insults and repudiates his brother who was a manual laborer (probably construction) without which the very building which he is doing his posh presentation would not exist. What is the message? "don't be the guy who actually builds things, who builds the country. My brother was stupid and deserves what he got. We need financial experts like me in this country but don't need manual laborers at all." It's such a fascinating contrast of trying to promote a better run country while simultaneously expousing self destructive narcasistic elitism. Yeah, the country would do soooooooo well if everyone refused to do manual labor and instead insisted on becoming financial experts in academia and would accept nothing less....

Inequality is a fact of life because we are all individuals and not in any way, shape, or form equal in our abilities, the choices we make, our ambition and so forth. Overall I think a system is fair that rewards intelligent choices and hard work. People who do not take their schooling seriously, or get involved in crime or drugs, or have children when they lack the financial means to support those children, they too have determined their own outcome, no different than the people who avoided those pitfalls. The choices you make in life determine the quality of your life. I see nothing unfair about that.

Wow... Does this man really believe that wealth and liberty is dependent on one group of people claiming the unique right to demand money from others under threat of violence (euphemized as "taxation") *All* taxation is rooted in this core inequality of rights: It's moral for people in government to do things that would be immoral if anyone else did them. Anything with such corrupt beginnings will only grow more corrupt over time. It's no surprise, and it could never play out any other way. The corruption he describes is real, but it's a discussion of symptoms while advocating the disease. It's "missing the forest for the trees" at best, and purposeful misguiding of the young at worst.

DNA already nicely arranged at conception. Babies are not commodities where we pick and choose such as the most perfect apple in the grocery store. Some of the debates and propositions here are very tempting to believe as ethical but on further scrutiny are nauseous and disgusting. Thank you for this debate anyway, at its very least, it has reinforced my ethical views that Science is in great error to meddle in the path of judging the morality of ethical justification regarding the abuse of a human beings destiny no matter how well meaning.

Yah, wellllll, what were you expecting? Under Capitalism, everything is for sale, including politicians and political influence. So, like before the gradual but systematic changes of the last 40 years, will more people have to die and waste their time which Johnston admits was necessary in the past, before we get back to square one? Because Capitalism will not be reformed, one of the reasons being that the regulators come from the industries they are supposed to regulate. Tax scams are just a symptom of the real problem which is that Capitalism is global and rewards those who cut corners the most, which is why the social and natural environment are going to self destruct. This guy is just another one who wants to save Capitalism, to make it less insane. I want it to go up in flames.

It's not about who gets rich. It's about how they get rich. Giving the poor money so that they won't be poor will reduce productivity due to the opportunity costs. The poor must provide value in exchange for becoming rich.
