The previous owner has been to places very far and wide across the planet... and has adapted this Defender for exploring remote destinations... Like Libya, Tunisia, Mauritania and Mongolia...This conversion is over twenty years old. But it has been done well and has stood the test of time.

I love you Videos! My wife and I bought a 110 300tdi 1995 a couple of months ago. Im busy preparing it for a three week Botswana trip in 2017 in June. I'm doing al the repairs and maintenance myself so I save a lot of money in labour and im getting to know the Land-rover inside out. I'm thinking of Starting a second channel dedicated to the Defender and documenting everything I do to it as a reminder to us and maybe a guide for other Land-rover defender owners. Love your Videos keep up the good work!

Thanks! Well done on the Defender! Definitely get a channel going, always good to get some knowledge out there (it's a rather large club and we're all pretty enthousisatic (or slightly nuts!)). Botswana should be great. Good luck on the preparations (perfect opportunity for some videos), (P.S. Just had a look at your Segway video - nice shots, good editing. Kind of miss S.A. A Landy with a HEATER :O Lovely job, I want to convert my 1968 Series 2 station Wagon into a camper with solar panels, water tanks, long range fuel etc. Got to strip her to the chassis first and start welding!! Subscribed mate!

I like the storage in the back.. I’ve looked at similar for my 90. I will look more about how you have the panels that fold over the seat to get more room..

Hi keep up the good work you are doing i enjoy blog each time you do it,I myself have a s2 109 1965 mint and a 96 defender 110 slowly making a camper out of i now have an awning i made up from your idea ,so keep going at what you do and keep the budget on track as us landy drivers we always short of cash,

Nice video man! I enjoyed it. Mine is a 90 and I have few space for my camping gears! However, I've got a roof top tent which is cool but not practical for removing its cover!

The previous owner certainly got around - even to Mongolia (which is on our list)... I like how it looks standard from outside, but everything you need is in there. Thanks for your comment

;-) Yes, the box system is making more sense the longer we drive around. I like the compressor hidden away and the insulation is very well done. Steal away, please do... you have a 110 too?

I find a standard sun reflecter folded in half fits the 110 window just right. Great content cheers.

Great practical solutions :-) You can imagine the previous owners traveling the world in it :-) But I can't look at that thick wire runnig through a sharp-edged hole in the battery box lid 8-0 Might give you a heated seat some day ;-)

Watching this for information. I’m thinking of buying an ex Army Defender 110 as an adventure/camping vehicle. It’s a 2008 and considering how well this is going for a ‘93 plate, I might just go for it

This one has led a hard life (offroad expeditions to some exotic loctions takes a toll) and some 300 000 km but was impeccably maintained - full service, and more, after each trip! Normally the army does need to look after its vehicles, so be sure to check its history of course, and sometimes they lead easy lives just running on the highway... One point on a Puma is the output shaft extension from gearbox to transfer case - check for rust at the drain hole. I like eco-sports and need the car to explorer The Chapada Diamantina here in Bahia. Do you know this place? It is a beautfull place and excellent for who enjoy ecosports, but to explore its area it's necessary a vehicle 4x4. Congratulations and thank you for the video. You are right, guys. With ur Landy you have to have all garage inside plus some good recovery. I called my beauty DLMD - don't let me down. Now I m the happiest Landy owner - I bought a Jeep. Good luck with your trips. Cheers

The Wilis GP was a superb idea, but not the be all, neiteh was the Landrover but it was much better that the alternatives, everything else is just a copy of the copy, world must mourn the passing of the civilian world beater even USA thinks so

I prefer the interior layout & sleeping arrangements of your friend's pop up Defender. By A Long Shot.... Nonetheless, good luck making this one your own. If your wife had a biking in the rooftop shot you could #vanlife.... Of Not -:)

So do Dave 2d's ideas coincide with the bikini suggestion? Next video alright! I agree that whatever vehicle you have is yours, "Mais franchement". I know a little about traveling with a bed in your rig and a pop up conversion (alu-cab 10K US$) would be the absolute first thing I would put on a LR or a Land Cruiser that I may buy. Without a doubt - it would be such a game changer. Put in some overtime and pony up son.
