The Toyota Land Cruiser probably not available in the UK at the time was and probably remains the better car. It's a great pity so little was done to improve its seating and reliability. Well maintained this LR has its advocates here in Australia. It is also shameful that its replacement simply doesn't match the values that made this car so popular and is useless when it comes to over landing over long distances, so that Toyota now have virtually no rival.
