i own a 120 prado and i know afew tings that make the car look better. take the side steps of and also get darker aftermarket and more modern style head lights. another thing u can get are 150 series prado style tail lights. makes the car so much more modern and looks why better than factory. and get black towing mirrors

Need to make sure your spare is same rolling diameter as the others, otherwise it's useless, being constant 4wd, you'll destroy a diff if you used it. Stedi are an Aussie company that do awesome lights, have LED conversions for foglights and heaps of different high quality light bars to fit in that spot! Neat truck mate, makes me miss my old 120 series.

Yeah those rims definitely look solid with the new bullbar.. I've got those H4 on my 2010 D40 and you can separate the light to fit the boot on.. I'm a novice with fitting stuff but you made that bullbar look like a breeze to install, I think that's enough proof to go and get me a bullbar to fit 😂.. Awesome vid uce 🔥🔥

The only drawback are the weldings on the Bullbar..... For a perfect finish smooth them out and another spraypaint job will make it look mint! lOVE THE BUILD!

Just watch the temps while towing with aftermarket bars that don’t have any vents on the bash plates. Sometimes it’s a problem with some vehicles other than that it looks great! Good job! 👍

Hi mate maybe you should turn your nuts and bolts on your bash plates. Otherwise all the stones and rocks will bugger the threads on your nuts👍

That bar suits your build really well, good choice. When I fitted my Narva LED headlights I managed to retain the rubber boots. If I remember correctly, I think the LED inserts can be separated from the housing to allow fitment of those boots, your headlights could fill with water otherwise. Edit: I noticed your Narva LEDs are Gen III, mine are older but I'm sure you can still retain those rubber boots

Regarding bash plate bolts, see if the plates will tuck up into the bullbar, so it can’t catch going forward And Supernova for your lighting needs, superior to Stedi, at less price 👍🏻 Also have Prado Grande 120, painting the original Toyota bullbar and adding winch 💪🏻

Go for the RUNVA 11XP winch. Reliable quality piece of gear and great value. Don’t go cheap on your winch..

regarding the leds you can get other h4 led styles that dont have that type of heat sink and allow for the boot stedi sells them

Hey mate love the build, I’ve got a 120 series myself, been looking to upgrade bullbar, I’ve been looking at the same bullbar but only found them for 2.5k

I prefer the factory look on the prados,but I'm sure the final look your going for will improve the whole look of it. I wanted to buy one just to do an artic prado build with the wide fenders and 40's but completely pointless here in Australia

Man for a 1k bucks it amazing how much it improves the look , next upgrade should be headlights , visibility is very important on long trips.

Just a heads up. Those bash plates are alright for on road and basic 4wd stuff. But if down the track you get into some more gnarly 4wd stuff don’t be surprised if that bash plate gets torn from one or two fixings.

You have a H11 plug mate and new one is a HB4 plugs looks similar but H11 slightly wider nice job one the car.Maybe change the globe to H11 leds keep the plug

Hey brother loving the new bar. Only thing I would do is swap all the bolts on the bash plates around so the bolts face up. Just looks a little cleaner. OCD is my game haha.

What LED globes was that u used on the headlights?

There are so many LED headlight bulbs available that do not comply with Australian regulations. Make sure they have the correct construction that does proper low beam. I got done for having LED bulbs that didn't have the correct low beam pattern. Got some new LED bulbs with the correct low beam pattern, but the LED cooler housing won't fit with the battery behind the left headlight.

I was surprised at how little the weight difference was!

What disc di you use to polish the headlights?

was that coolant on the plastic cover ?

What would look good is a nice light bar where the grill is on the bullbar and paint the mirrors

What spray paint did you use for the grille?

I would think you are supposed to cut down the mad guard that goes inside the wheel arch (sorry, full of technical terms). I helped a mate install a bar on his Hilux last week and that is what we had to do. Maybe it would be worth having a skim over the instructions, I could be wrong. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Looks like the nuts and bolts are wrong way around attaching the bash plates to the bullbar.

By the way. I am also skinny and the gym will do nothing If you don’t eat enough. Measure your calories and see how much you need to eat to maintain current weight and then add 500 calories a day

I don't think that bar is ADR nor Airbag compliant. Which means it's unroadworthy. Also, changing the globes to LED also makes it unroadworthy? Correct me if I'm wrong and I hope I am. BTW awesome series of videos.

I see you made the video longer hectic, I'd recommend the XTM 12000lb winch $500 I have one on my 91 2wd tf rodeo and it's been bloody great and has pulled my ute out of some crazy stuff and get the xtm 7 peice recovery gear $109 i believe, And I'd really recommend getting a hi-lift jack or 2 $99 each all of which you can get at bcf and get a tire deflator think it was $30? But can go on ebay and pick one up for about $15 to $20 I believe, Also if it has side steps remove them, Bullbar looks tough.
