The wheels style and tyre combo really transformed the Prado to a serious looking rig!!! Awesome stuff.

Wheels look mint love the colour and glad they are not black, but always looks tuffer with the the 5th wheel and matching tyre on the back 👍

The wheels look great. The black Grande is looking great, cleaned up very nicely! If you decide to film taking it off-roading regularly or semi regularly you’ll see your subscriptions & views increase that’s for sure. A KZfaq channel called Off-road Crusader started off with a white 120 Prado & he had some great off-roading videos posted. Maybe you could get in touch with Tyler Thompson & feature in an off-roading video of his for more exposure in the 4wding video world, or do a lot more mods to your car & feature in a KZfaq episode of Ronny Dahl’s where you both talk about your car & everything done to it in a 30-40 min video. Do you reckon you could fit a turbo to this thing? One thing Tyler Thompson does that’s pretty unique, is when he gets his local mechanic or auto electrician to do work to his car, he films the work being done to a good level of detail & talks to the bloke doing the work on camera asking all sorts of questions about the job throughout from start to finish. Could film any type of more involved service being done to the engine in detail too such as radiator flush, ATF flush, serpentine belt replacement, dual battery install & wiring fed through to the boot, those sorts of things. I think a lot of people would love to see things like that done with your car, plus a turbo install on a 4.0L petrol V6 4wd for example. Then later on you could cover all the pros & cons of fitting a turbo to the 1GRFE engine incl fuel consumption differences, pulling power increases & general driving improvements around town. Likelihood of getting speeding fines after if you’re not careful... You just don’t see videos like that. After your budget build of course because turbos wouldn’t fall under the category of a “budget build.” Just an idea though. Keep up the great work. Your channel has massive potential now you’ve entered the 4wd vehicle world. Still plenty of room out there to be original in this KZfaq market that’s for sure.

I enjoy your videos and love the Prado . I put big mud tyres on standard rims and like in your car they touched upper cntrl arm. fuel consumption went through the roof too. back on all terrains ,but kept the mud tyres for weekends (like my "going out shoes" :). cheers again mate!!

Hi Mike. By putting on zero offset wheels you’ve increased the scrub radius which means I reckon you have fixed the rub on upper control arm but without doubt have brought the tyre way closer to the wheel arches when turning which will result is huge rubbing when turning with stock suspension and without cutting mods. The car looks great though and hopefully youve been able to modify what you’ve needed to to keep them on 👍

Mike. Great LC J120 (Prado) content. You are a hard worker for sure and have brought this Toyota back from the mess it was. I imagine you will probably now be hooked by how good Toyota vehicles are. Like the Bull bar but I am not keen on the black grill or the wheels (beautiful as they are), I feel they take away from the Toyota identity. But hey it’s all about personal taste and I respect yours. Good luck from Ireland

Yeah not a fan of the fake bead lock look, but otherwise they look pretty good! Also weigh your new and old bullbars! It would be interesting to see the difference and whether it affects the front springs…
