Great Video!! my "b" is stamped right on the side of the block "b" and 2B and 3B models are stamped from what i seen also. what is on yours?

Yeah mine is stamped b on the side, however I believe there is a “blue block B” and a “Red block B” one is earlier one is later. Weird cos mine was black...

@@FULLBOAR so it's still a 2977cc? mine is black also, but mine was a pretty rare Canada model (not many made it to canada) seems like there is not too much info out there. my heads also cracked , but i have a mid 1980's 3B head on my 1978 B engine, the head the old owner installed did not last very long at all , maybe a few thousad Km's so kinda... need to do some research more.. it's been parked since the 1980's LOL

Yep still a 3 litre. Bit weird cos Toyota’s are generally easier than this...

@@FULLBOAR That engine has a rotary pump (usually on JDM imports) and a side intake which suggests it came from a truck. For what it's worth, my 3B's were both grey!

Engine is too clean for a cruiser , chuck some mud on the outside
