The weapons he stole were all automatics capable of doing serious injury to whoever possessed them. This is not a kid who made a simple mistake. Most likely the weapons would have been sold and used by someone at someplace to kill, maim, threaten, etc. another human being. My God.. HE HAS NEVER BEEN IN TROUBLE BEFORE? Well, he picked a doozy for his first crime. CLICK ON LINK TO SEE PHOTOS OF THE STOLEN WEAPONS.... www.knarfoh.com...
Boyle County high school three-star cornerback Landen Bartleson has been taken into police custody in connection with a burglary investigation.
According to the report, three people were accused of breaking into a Boyle County business and stealing several guns. This trio, including Bartleson, was also linked to a stolen vehicle. All three of these individuals are facing charges of burglary, criminal mischief and receiving stolen property.
On Saturday, Fighting Irish head football coach Brian Kelly released a statement to the media and made it clear that following the arrest, Bartleson is no longer welcome to join the Notre Dame football program.
"After reviewing all of the facts available to us and speaking with the Bartleson family, we informed them that Landen will no longer be welcomed as a member of our football program," said Kelly in a release. "This incident is very much out of character for the man we have come to know and we wish Landen and his family well."
One of the top football prospects in the state of Kentucky, Bartleson rushed 47 times for 402 yards and 12 scores. He had signed to play in the secondary at Notre Dame.
