I did 42 years as cabin crew. I'm so pleased my feet are permanently planted on the ground. Turbulence became worse and worse year after year. I dreaded going to work during my final years. Airbuses especially were awful in rough weather. British jets such as the VC10, Tridents, TriStars and Boeings were much more stable.

I actually thought this was from the cockpit at the start, then you zoomed out and ‘oh my God that’s the crab angle!’

Was up flying that evening Manchester to Belfast scariest flight of my life, circling round Belfast for 45 minutes then had to go around and return to Manchester while the worst turbulence I’ve ever been in battered us around

The applause used to be far more common when I started flying in the 80s, nice to see it make a bit of a comeback :)
