With James and Andrew once again winning tonight, they are set to play each other again tomorrow in Game 2. The only question was who would draw in against them. It couldn't be Sam or Matt, since they already played against those 2 in a match. It was to be a random draw between Mattea and Amy. Unfortunately for Amy she lost the draw and will have to take on James and Andrew in tomorrow's 2nd game. It will be Mattea, Matt, and Sam in Game 1. James, Andrew, and Mattea have locked into the semifinals and Sam has been eliminated. If Matt wins in Game 1 tomorrow night, then he locks in the final spot to the semifinals. If he finishes in 2nd or 3rd, then Amy still has a chance to advance, but she has to win vs. James and Andrew. It's too bad that Mattea didn't draw in versus James and Andrew. Then we could have had Matt and Amy battle it out for the final spot in Game 1 vs. Sam. It's going to take a miracle for Amy to not be eliminated tomorrow and for Matt not to advance. See what happens tomorrow!

according to the scheule on jeopardy's website matt is game 2 tonight. and yeah. she is not going to win against James. . best case is she gets 1 point. if she does and matt gets one, he wins on a tie breker.

At this point I expect James’ FJ response to just be Scott Steiner’s entire Steiner Math rant… You know they say that all men are created equal, but you look at me and you look at Matt Amodio and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you go one on one with another contestant, you got a 50/50 chance of winning. But I'm a genetic freak and I'm not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, at beat me. Then you add Andrew He to the mix, your chances of winning drastic go down. See the 3 way at Jeopardy! Masters, you got a 33 1/3 chance of winning, but I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, because Andrew He KNOWS he can't beat me and he's not even gonna try! So Matt Amodio, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winning at Jeopardy! Masters. But then you take my 75% chance of winning, if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, I got 141 2/3 chance of winning at Jeopardy! Masters. See Matt, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you at Jeopardy! Masters!

Why does Ken insist on calling the players dollars amounts, points? Also, when Alex Trebek was the host, if players did not spell the word correctly, they got that answer wrong.

The producers make the call on correct answers and he’s saying points because they’re playing for points, not dollars

@@uberdan1180 That's true. It's a tournmanet: They're playing for points, not dollars. Also, the rule has always been that spelling doesn't matter, as long as the pronunciation doesn't change.

Transliterations are notorious for various spellings. See "Koran versus Qur'an".

it is the same as the GOAT trounament last year. alex called them points, not dollars. because this is not a normal tournament with ollar amounts. also , druing alex's time. spelling was never an isssue, only if either A. the category required you to spell it right, or if the spelling changes the answer to be in correct.
