EXO at this level don’t really mess up their songs, SM training and their perfectionism (looking at you Yeolie😅) has their performances ingrained to an instinctive muscle memory levels. Older fans will remember that random harmonising because Chanyeol was taking to long to answer and it was beautifully done too😂

Even after 6 years, Monster is still perfection. It's probably still my favorite EXO song. Wish they'd done a bit of my other top EXO song Sweet Lies too! I love how DO always looks like singing is completely effortless. Even when he belts, he just closes his eyes lol. I'm a big DO solo fan too, though he had a specific style that might not appeal to everyone.

The song that has a intense intro is "MAMA" which means your majesty in korean and that song has actually a good lyrics about how the society is getting worse specially about other people and it was made in 2012 but the lyrics are so much relatable even in 2023, "If only we can all be thankful For the blessed days that grant us life If only we can make new relationships Rather than broken hearts Having a joyful love altogether If only we can all smile together" this is actually my favourite part of the song, you should try to react to it and also the lyrics

the far right member who isnt singing as much. good observation! thats sehun the youngest member of the group. hes dance and rap position and had arguably the poorest vocal techniques. the fans know this and they accept it so its fine (just no one talks about it lol). back when there were originally 12 members, there were plenty of singers so the dance lines get the very least amount of vocal solo, sometimes none and they just harmonize during chorus. its only recent when some left (half that left were rappers so sehun has even less time as a rapper back then) that sehun finally got some note worthy solo time

why does it feel like "cream soda" was written for NCT and they thought EXO could use an upbeat song for their comeback?? i'm neither NCT or EXO fan... i'm ARMY
