Good info, professor. I'm growing hindu kush(100% landrace strain or heirloom I think) and Afghani landrace(heirloom) right now and about a month ago I'm harvest my first seeds of hybrid: runtz muffin x Afghani landrace(heirloom) . Really interesting to show new hybrid potencial!

I grew some Afghani "Landrace" courtesy of I Love to Grow Marijuana. I now realize they are heirlooms. These were auto's grown in a Southern California coastal region with plenty of sun. They frosted up nice but the kick's not there. I'll just do photo periods next year with one in the ground.

Alternate Title: "Stop referring to your weed incorrectly part 2." (jokes aside thank you for more knowledge. Really like your videos) EDIT: Just removing a landrace plant from its native region is enough to move into the heirloom category? Wouldn't its offspring just be open pollenated 'conventional' generations? Wouldn't it take further harvesting and genetic selection to make it "heirloom" or is all of this nonsense?
@DeBaccoUniversity

I like your alternate title;-) Yes, change the location and the classification would also change.

Do the supports in a grow tent create a Faraday Cage? Is this good or bad for your plants. Will 'copper wire' electro-culture work in such a Faraday Cage? What are your thoughts on indoor vs outdoor gardening using the copper wire electro-culture technique? The 'copper-wire' technique is a hardwood dowel with copper wire loosely coiled around it and placed halfway in the soil like an antennae. Thank you for all your very useful information I have gained from watching your videos.
@michaelcarey9359

Doesn't a Faraday cage require a near-hermetic "box"? However, I read this question and realize that "tin foil hats" are supposed to act as Faraday cages. 'Nuff said.

I don't believe in the witchcraft stuff but copper wire grounding might actually have an effect because plants do have ion exchanges. More research needed.

.... Show me the data. In short any impact this may have would be minimal so focus on other aspects that can have a great impact on your plants.

Great Video~!! Question: Can clones down the lineage change their phoenotype slightly from the original? I have an Afghan where it seems to have split, one looking the same as the mother and the others have a lime green accent and the leaves are longer, pointer, sharper like a sativa while the other is def large Afghan indica leaf....The lime green version is taller and just side by side look different... This is prob the 7th-8th cloning generation from the original. There def is no nutrient/light issues, very health and stable. I flowered twice side by side, although roughly the same outcome, the lime green version stacks like a Kush. Ideas? Thanks!

Phenotype can change, but the genes remains the same. The age and environment can impact the gene expression, just as a heads-up.

Good morning, professor! Thanks for dropping the knowledge bombs on us. This one is similar to the term "strain" being used instead of "cultivar". This is another one that I would like to see disappear from cannabis culture.
@OPIXdotWORLD
@OPIXdotWORLD Жыл бұрын
indeed... and a strain can be a genus or a species too...in theory
@michaelcarey9359
@michaelcarey9359 Жыл бұрын
@@OPIXdotWORLD No,not even in theory. Imagination, yes. A strain is a part of a species, while a species is a part of a genus. Sure, a strain could be a genus, but it would be the ONLY example of a species, which would be the only member of that genus. At the present time, no strain of cannabis can possibly be a genus, let alone a species.
