That is a perfect mix of what at first appears to be a well constructed cottage garden and yet still has a relaxed style that gives the feeling of nature just doing its thing. So lovely. As an Australian, I can only admire such lush green lawns. Mike: Well done!

Mike? Can you add what Growing Zones your Planted Plants and Bushes/Trees are best for? I live in SE Wisconsin( 5 miles from the North Illinois Barder) in Zone 5 and not sure and have to look each one you have, that I get Frustrated wasting that time after finding many don't grow well in my Zone.. Thanks so Much Mike! DennisTheMenance- Retired 67' US Army Vet and Wife & I blessed to afford to Move to Wi. & (Fla in winter) Retire since 05' at ages 55& 56..!

"People make it alot more than it is." so true! but at the same time, this is just a yard from a house. parks and others are obviously more difficult but again, people make it alot more than it is!

Do your heuchara and coral bells survive your zone 5/6 or do you start them fresh each year?

How did you clear the large spaces for landscaping. Was the soil tilled loosely,.. a sod grass cutter, or just landscaping fabric to keep the grasses out? Thanks..

I know what you mean about hiding your power meter, but would still hide it. Maple would cover it up and still look great.

Hello sir. I'm heading to Egypt soon where I will be working in landscaping and mango farming. Unfortunately good quality mulch is difficult to come by in Egypt where it is hot and dry. I was thinking of making my own mulch from the excess of mango trees and date palms. Is this feasable? Any recommendations? I've seen some people seling mango mulch online I thin in California. Do you think date palm mulch will look unattractive. Thanks!

Use a tree limb ER with a wood blade in the long Pole to cut the design through the grass so quick easy way to knock people use it they tried shopping through you just it's not going to work like that
