It is hard to find reviews on this camera that just focus on still photography. The video review parts are alwasys a waste of time for me.

I still think this is one of the most underrated cameras probably ever made, and if you’re looking to get into photography and you’re looking for a camera that’s not too expensive pack and take bloody good photos. This is the best value camera on the market. Yeah there are cameras that can do more and it does have a couple little things that are a bit annoying but overall if you can’t take good photos with this camera is time to take up lawn bowls or some other hobby because this camera is an absolute beauty. I have recommended this camera till about 10 people. I said just buy one and learn how to use it and they’ve all said to me that was the best purchase. They made the fact that it has in body stability….. The auto focus is fantastic. The menu and touchscreen are all fantastic. Yes the viewfinder is a little small but really come on stop complaining and just get out there and use this beast of a camera. It is a mini beast it’s like you can almost put it in your pocket. I just say to people when they ask me about this camera now I just say buy one no description just gone buy one😮

I'm just planning to buy a camera, but I don't know which one should I choose. I'm thinking about X-S10, Sony A6400 and Z50. Which one would you recommend for travel, landscape and street photography? Thanks for the answers and help! 😀✌️

@@sichiamogabor I would buy the Fuji film wire because it has in body stabilisation and produces great images. Fuji film lenses are also affordable. It is a great camera trust me

Would pairing this up with the 16-80 be a good start in landscape photography? Also does the fact that it only has 0.62 magnification render it a deal breaker? Thanks for viewing this camera anyway Ian, love watching your vids for hours!

I envy him his hoar frost. All and all, this is not the best time of the year to be trying out a new camera. At least not in my neck of the woods.

hi you may already know this but with the 15-45mm kit lens you can set it up so that the focus ring on the front of the lens works the zoom in small movements. thank you for the video my first visit to your channel

Really enjoyed this video - was nice to hear the process of finding the right shot and then going on to discuss why you've picked it and how you've finessed the composition, something a lot of channels miss.

Durable post, impressive images, Ian. Last pic my fav for monochromatic and layering effects. Reminds of cyanotype. Fuji did not supply a hot shoe cover w/this cam, and in your vid, noticed there was no cover on the cam. Considering the damp env in this venue, do you think absence of cover could be a problem? Thanks for the video. Stumbled upon your channel as am looking into getting the xs-10 myself. I do a lot of long distance hiking and preferably need a lightweight camera + 1 lens. Which lens(es) would you recommend for this camera when also using it to vlog and take photographs? Thanks in advance!

Thanks buddy, a good all rounder would either be the 10-24 f4 or the 18-55 f2.8 - f4 depending how wide you like to go 👍👍

2.8 unless you shoot low light/astro

16mm f/1.4 for astrophotography, but 16 f/2.8 for landscape no problem, generally you use F 5.6, F 8, F11

Sure, its the very cheap 15-45 xc lens. Nice a light for vlogging but wouldn't use it for stills

it is dangerous to shoot with a small lense in jungle mate, you should have lense which is atleast a foot tall
