Ahh I missed this so much! These videos introduced me to the idea that skateboarding didn’t have to be just about tricks and popsicle stick boards… now I am an avid recreational longboard rider at the age of 41, and I have to say it got me through the pandemic! Well done and thank you to Landyachtz… I now have 10 of your boards :)

This makes me feel so much better about myself. Thank you! I'm a Floridian who only started skating about a year ago and as a 300lb dude in his 30s sometimes I feel like I'll never be able to land anything. Whole I've improved my cruising, confidence and flexibility over my time learning to skate I have still yet to land anything more impressive than a 5 second super sketchy manual. Not even a ShuvIt, let alone an Ollie. Sometimes I worry that it is because I use soft wheels. And I tend to prefer soft wheels cuz, otherwise I can only ride the smoothest concrete without my teeth chattering so hard they fall out. I just can't deal with the ca-chunk-ca-chunk-ca-chunk, you know? So, to see stuff like this, where people aren't busting out crazy Rodney Mullen style tricks like it's nothing but just having fun, skating wherever, and busting out all kinds of tricks including powerslides and reverts on soft wheels. It gives me hope that I will, eventually, be able to grind it up with the best of them. Thanks for the awesome content y'all. It's cool seeing places I'm familiar with being treated as legitimate and fun skate spots!
