He spoke true. I’m sure it wasn’t fun under Saban, but what Kiffin was able to learn will pay off soon enough. Kiffin is very offensive minded, if he puts that together with other things learned, he’ll do good. Roll Tide!!!

Coaching college football especially in and around the SEC has to be one of the toughest occupations. I can only imagine how difficult it is for a young coach trying to prove himself with emense pressure from players , fans , media as well as the school and higher ups that determine if you have a job past today. Lane has like most made mistakes climbing the ladder and balancing on the top rung but he also seems to have learned and matured into a respectable coach. I wish him well.

I don't. The man did an interview before he left that all but threw shade at Bama. And he said he hated living in Tuscaloosa and he complained about his alimony. If he had kept it in his pants he would not have to pay alimony.

He was and is a great coach! He had his differences off and on the field, but should have never let him go! Why do you think he brought Coach Sarkisian back? Same coaching style, and also good guy! Heaven forbid Coach Sarkisian gets COVID-19! One, we need him Saturday and #2 he had open heart surgery March 2020! That would not be good! I predict Lane Kiffin will become Alabama’s next head coach! I hope so, can’t handle Dabo!

@@marthahaythorne978 Sark had drinking problems. And he needed fired. Lane is an overgrown frat boy. I never said he was a bad offensive coach. Problem is keeping him in mindset to do his job. Which includes being involved in meetings on defense. Lane got lazy his last year. Imo he won't be at Ole Miss long.

@@bobwhite5440 He gets fired by Ole Miss he is done in college. Maybe he has grown up out of his frat boy ways. I doubt it tho. He was called a fraud by Al Davis even via letter. He was reprimanded by the NCAA for unproven public claim that Urban is a cheater. If he can stay focused on his job he is one of the best offensive minds in college football. I do not think he can lead Ole Miss to an SEC title tho.

Kiffin couldn't have handle being on Saban staff. He was always use to having his way at USC. But when he was brought over to the SEC...things changed. No disrespect to USC, but he was in a much stronger conference. Now he have excuses. The thing I like about Kirby Smart... former assistance coach and then defensive coordinator at Alabama, he didn't cry when Saban yelled at him. That's what Championship coaches does. They try to get the best out of his and her staff. So to my knowledge...Kirby never took it to heart like Kiffin is.
