When the frame rate matches the blade rpm’s it’s like we’re mowing in slow motion 😂. Great stuff man! Thank you again!

Good morning Brock. I’ve had a Lane Shark for many years now and really enjoy using it for trail and driveway maintenance on our property. I have always used mine with the brush hog attached and running so as I cut the branches and they fall in front of me and I move forward it grinds them up and leaves a really nice finished product. Keep up the informative and entertaining content it’s a great way to start my day.

I've owned one for years. They are awesome! And way more capable than what this video demonstrated. I do realize you were taking it easy. FYI, with it mounted in the front position, you can do more with it by raising up and then swiping downward at trees and heavy brush.

I got a Lane Shark with my tractor...it has an electric activation switch from Lane Shark. Some the the plumbing by the dealership was not the best, have had to replace several hoses due to various catches around wheels and even had a hose get caught up in the blade. It works very well, save the way it was plumbed, and has cut some brush well above its specs. Keep some extra pins handy as well, have had several vibrate loose and their cotters get pulled in the thick stuff.

@mycenae2 Ай бұрын
Yep, I got tired of losing pins, so I just replaced them with long bolts. It takes a bit longer to change mowing positions, but at least they don't fall out while mowing.
@williamgaines9784

@@mycenae2 Not a bad idea at all. Would just need the wrenches in my tool box and they would take about the same room as the extra pins.👍👍

I have the Lane Shark. Love it. You do need to watch the top hooks that are used for I believe JD attachment. Be careful as they can hit the cylinders when you curl it fully. I had to cut the hooks some. I believe they just came out with a new model that has hydraulic positioning. Mine is a special edition also. Number 8. Funny I've had it for a year already and this one is number 2.

I have the slightly bigger brother (DK5310) to that Kioti tractor and I love it. Sure think an open station tractor with a mower on the front might be worth some peeper protection beyond ye olde safety squints but to be fair I’ve never tried it

FYI- The Kioti DK series loader lifts 2,474 lbs. With the rear tires filled you can reach the limit,especially if you have anything on the rear 3pt.

Right. He said 22 or 2400. I didn’t look it up. I know that the TYM can actually lift the 2800 it is rated for.

I wish there was a cheaper option for steep bank mowing. offset articulating flail mowers are just to expensive. almost ready to get a self powered swisher, kind you pull with an ATV.

Good morning Brock. That Lane Shark looks like a great attachment. I have 3 questions about it. #1 Does it come in a size comparable to like a 1025r? #2 What is the cost (approximately)? And #3 Using it tilted vertically hanging off to one side like that, will it eventually be prone to twist the loader arms? Sometimes I have too much time on my hands to think about things. 🤔😀 God bless and have a wonderful day. 👍👍🙂
@LaneSharkUSA
@LaneSharkUSA Ай бұрын
#1 - Not currently. We are working on a model that would potentially be compatible with a bit lighter tractors for stability purposes. Stay tuned! #2 LS3 $4,500, LS4 $4,700 + freight. #3 No sir, we designed it under just the right weight to not harm the loader arms. 7+ years now! Please let us know if you have any additional questions!
