Langdon Tactical is pretty universally known for making the best Berettas on the market. Their 92 Elite LTT is a far departure from 92's of the 1980's. Langdon Tactical does several signature modifications including their trigger job, which is spectacular. They also are the first ones to re-engineer the 92 slide to be red dot compatible. Be sure to check them out.
What is the 1911 Syndicate? We do a few things. We started out as a real estate company primarily targeted at serving the military/LE/shooting/hunting communities. Consider it our "day job" and we can serve you pretty much anywhere in the USA. Next we're a content producer. We kind of fell into it semi by accident, and here we are today. We try to do things a little different and have some fun. Thanks for tuning in.

FYI, while there's a number of companies that make your typical kydex style holsters for the light bearing LTT Elite, it can be a challenge to find a positive retention holster that can do it with the RDO feature. But there is one I found. The "KT Mech Akela". It's kind of a cross between a safariland ALS and SLS. But it accommodates the full size Elite with suppressor height sights, light of your choice, and optic of your choice, despite having a spring released bail. Check it out.

I said a long time ago I'd only buy a LTT Elite if it could take a dot. In a FB post, you called me out on it, and I finally pulled the trigger on the RDO late last year and I couldn't be more pleased. Its a really good pistol and its my carry piece. Super happy with it.

Taran tactical is so overrated. Their Glock 34 is just an overpriced canik rival, except the Timney trigger design isn’t as reliable as the walther P99 trigger group. All their guns are obscenely priced compared to custom guns of similar quality. They’re the cool John wick guns and that’s why they cost so much, if not for Keanu reeves nobody would touch those guns

I first did USPSA matches back in 2011 with a Beretta 92fs. It was the first gun I ever bought and I can confirm, at least at the local matches, I would see maybe one other person using a Beretta. I think I mostly saw open race guns or Glocks or M&P or some CZ. I've become a CZ guy, but I met a guy at matches last year that had a couple nice Langdon tuned Beretta's. I forget what the second was but the first was a 92x Performance, and I dry fired it. The trigger pull was amazing. I was kinda kicking myself for getting my Shadow 2. I think the other disadvantage with the official Beretta optic plates is that you can't even get them. That might have changed by now. I would hope so.

Just added this to my collection - once you figure out the feel for the DA to SA transition - you won’t pick up anything else. I’m about 1000 rounds into mine - this is now my go to. It’s just bonkers how nice it functions. *You will struggle on your first range trip, if you’re not used to DA/SA or have limited experience with Berettas in general. I don't know about that, I hated Glocks when I first started learning because of their trigger but I loved the P229 that they had available for practice. I felt like I could hammer nails with that thing and the Glock just left me frustrated. Now of course I carried a G19.5 for a few years and it's fine, I can hit whatever I need to be it Glock, CZ, Sig, Walther but whenever I get my hands on a P226 or something similar it kinda feels like I should have just gone that direction out the gate. Eventually I will have to pick up a DA/SA but they tend to come with a bit more premium of a price tag.

The SB is the model that actually passed the US Trials prior to the M9 designation. Whenever I get jaded about guns (or anything else) I take my SB and just rack the slide a few times. It is like sliding two pieces of glass together with oil between them. I have never seen another gun like it...and when I got my 92D (DAO) it was the same. It always calms me down. Going from memory, so I may be a bit off, but not by much. One mod you can do to extend the barrels is get the threaded barrel for suppressors. I know it can be done for sure on the compact, and probably on the full sized. I got my threaded barrel in a couple of days from Beretta.

@@austincook2653 I like a commander length barrel. I also have a Beretta factory 92X Performance that is an amazing shooter, I bet your Landon 92X performance is really outstanding.

@@silverbackgorilla2112 I went ahead and ordered the LTT Elite Centurion tonight with trigger job and NP3. I was back and forth on full size vs centurion but in the end it seems neither choice was a bad one. I went with something different in length than what I already have in the 92x and the 92x performance both being full size. I was looking for a 92x performance for a while and out of nowhere it popped up on LTT website with a trigger job for $1,475. That was cheaper than I was finding the gun straight up most other places. Icing on the cake was I got free shipping at the time and no tax. The trigger is out of this world amazing. I also have a Walther PPQ Q5 SF Pro with a rdo and I prefer the 92x performance. Full disclose, I am a relatively new shooter but one that tries to go to shoot weekly or bi-weekly.. I bought my first gun, which was my 92x less than 2 years ago. What I found is that I like to buy very slick looking guns but never at the expense of their performance. Seems our new purchase here certainly fits that category in my book. Hope you enjoy when you receive yours.

@@austincook2653 Hopefully the wait for our Centurions isn't too awfully long, and we have another pistol in common. I also have a Walther Q5 Match Steel Frame Pro. My current top pistol though is my CZ Tactical Sport Orange in 9mm, I'm so accurate with it, it's like having a video game cheat code. 🙂 We will have to compare notes we get our Centurions. Stay Safe.

Centurion - "compact" slide 4.25" on what equates to the normal frame. The compact uses the same slide and barrel on a shorter frame. So Centurion is essentially a glock 45, Compact would be a 19, and the full size is a 17 (and they're nearly identical in dimension). The full frame/slide will not work on a compact or centurion. The centurion and compact slide/barrels are interchangeable.

I wonder if Langdon Tactical can also pimp up a PT 92...Don't get me wrong I love the Beretta...but my issue is the placement of the safety... Not like the Taurus PT 92, the safety placement is similar to the 1911...

My dog did the same thing on a weeklong canoeing fishing trip down the Shenandoah. I later found out that it was one of my canoeing fishing buddies. Thank you so much Gene Beal a******. Anyway buddy had been missing for about 45 minutes. Then all of a sudden he showed up and jumped into the canoe all wrapped up in Genes s***. It took me 45 minutes to clean the dog up. I will never forget that f****** trip!! Good time was had by all! We caught a lot of fish. And the river has some pretty good Rapids to run as well. Dogs we love them no matter what they do. Gene still talks about the experience 25 years later.
