Lansing Fireworks - breaching the safety zone

Lansing fireworks were cancelled Wednesday night after members of the crowd toppled the fence surrounding the safety zone required for the display. The fencing installed is temporary and is not permanently secured, as shown in this video of a similar section of fencing on the same night. Read the context: thelansingjournal.com/2024/07...

In 20 years, they never had to cancel the fireworks. This young generation should not be allowed at the fireworks not unless they were adult or they live in the area. Thank you to Lansing police department

Yes the young generation. WTF else would you call it? Does it look like elderly people? Pick up your race cards idiots. This comment is correct. Not everything is about how certain people love to break laws and cause chaos and then act like victims when others get mad. But it's all a stereotype though. Right?

What happened? Why'd yhey have to cancel. I heard the "leaked" call between Ta-304 Tiff and some lady saying no fireworks. Why are people commenting on the young scholars ?

Do you not watch the video, thugs climb the fence and they had to cancel the fireworks because of safety reasons

The fence was there for a reason. This young generation has no respect for anything or anyone. They are self-centered. It's all about them. Stop making excuses fir their bad behavior.
