This hurts tho… Lan Qiren just wants Wangji not to follow his father’s footsteps and secluding himself away from the world. He’s afraid of history repeating itself. I don’t hate Lan Qiren for that-he’s just trying to protect his nephews… :(

@IvanIsYda I understand his intension, but if there is love, he is powerless. LZ is stubborn and starts to think of all the rules realising, that things May be different.

@@jitkakovarova5215 that is indeed true, and I think LQR realizes this. He knows his nephew feels something for WWX, that’s why he’s being even harder on him and reminding LZ of their family rules-despite knowing it is futile because LZ has already built his own sense of beliefs and has faith in WWX more than his own sect.

@@jitkakovarova5215 well in the end he has no choice-it’s his nephew’s decision after all. At the end of the day, WWX will be calling Gusu his home (in the novel 🥲) so LQR has no choice but to accept it in the end😂

@@IvanIsYda_ Yes, that´s true. Gusu and Lan Zhan are his home. Even JC had to accept it, when he said: everyone goes, where he belongs (or similar).

Yanli had a tough decision to make look for A Xian or stay with her future husband. No wonder what happened she still loved A Xian and didn't want him hurt 😌

Personally I feel that the decision really was to go after Wei Ying who was going through the worst stage of her life or stay with the man who humiliated, insulted and mistreated her on several occasions and got Wei Ying in trouble for defending her older sister's honor. I would have liked Yanli to know how to value herself more, but I guess at that time women didn't have much choice either :c

Lan Qiren shouldn't like that Lan Zhan and Wei Ying are just like his parents 😭. Two different ways of thinking here I don't think Lan Zhan's Dad used music to help his Mom 😏
