Its a shame you didn't show the wiring inside the junction box next to the light. Would have been good to see that tbh. Ive been trying to install an led 3 wire light in place of a halogen bulb which was connected to to a 4 wire light switch cable. Installation is tidy & good quality

Help - I’m a young diy’er but don’t think this is very informative or helpful. If anything, from the comments, it sets off alarm bells. Clearly a number of dubious actions. Can anyone recommend a good tutorial that actually explains how to correctly install a security light ?

Not impressed by led lights. That unit does stick out a fair bit.

Watched this as i want to do the same. However not as useful as it should have been. Need to describe choices, how to test for live, where to screw fixing and why, drill bit size, choosing junction box and which one and why, how cibnections were done, how to use glands etc. I known how to do some of this without thinking but better if told how and why.
