If slab ratio ly by lx is less than two but not supported on four sides, then it will be designed as two way or one way slab

ok .If the slab is not supported on four sides it comes under the category of four edges discontinuous. If ly/lx less than 2 then it is two way slab.

You are wrong about lap length Location.. Lap length should not be provided in the middle or end of the member.. Lap length should be provided at L/4 distance from end.. Ome thing more you need to elaborate this topic... Lap length for different members of rcc structure are different like for for column, beam and slab value of lap length differ.. One more question what is minimum value of dev length should be provided..

Thanks for the notification. Minimum development length should be 300mm.

Madam think of Ld, Ld/3 Lap for tension lap for compression. In practice lapping is done wherever they like irrespective of theory.
