Height is column is never measured from slab bottom but from the bottom of the beam.

In zone B moment is not zero totally but just on the neutral axis.

please do responde to me if clear length of column is same 10' and dia of bar is 25 mm then lapping length will be 45D which means 3'9" we cannot splice all bars at same position so we have to lap at a distance L/4 means 2'6" and total length will be =2'6"+3'9"+3'9"+2'6" which is not possible and what should be the spacing betn two lapping ???/
