This looks so easy, god damn. Here in tunisia, do or die, has boxing match, pull ups, push ups, swimming, running full speed for 2mins, and more.

This isn't the academy training, this is just the qualifier. They're using this to weed out those who borderline can't cut the academy while giving others a chance who are really trying to become a police officer. So it's not supposed to be impossible, but it's not exactly to easy for those that are not athletically fit.

well first of all, never heard about Tunisia tho. Have some respect regarding 3rd biggest U.S. Law enforcement Department. Looks so easy? I am telling you what happened there. First, they had a challenge physical training a week ago from PFQ test day, and usually they ran 3 miles or 6 miles depends on beginner to advanced group and over hundreds jumping jacks, etc at challenge week. They got training for 4 hours with few mins break time. Secondly, when they took a test, they did not have enough break time (less then 5 min total) during the test. Do not anticipate. Do not under-estimating for U.S. pre-military law enforcement department.

Hi, I will be taking the Expedited testing in September. How is the Physical test is it hard, easy? How do they determine what is passing and what is failing?
@lilith_618
@lilith_618 5 жыл бұрын
For mine we have a program called CAPS. To be a passing grade for CAPS you need a 50%. In the academy it’s 70%. We did a 1.5 mile run. 300 meter sprint. Push ups and sit-ups. It’s not that hard. Tiring but doable, especially if you already workout. Honestly, just work on your running. You’ll do a lot of that in the academy. That’s what the instructors say.

Yeah I took mine this past Saturday and passed it too. The most challenging part was the 1.5 mile run especially after doing everything else before the run. But taught through it and passed it. Next up is board interviews

@professional7603
@professional7603 6 жыл бұрын
Their standards are a lot lower???? LMAO... Are u 5 years old??? Sorry but it s really FUNNY. 60 pu and 60 su is still IMPOSSIBLE for many applicants. i just checked lapd s website. They say max pu and su in 1 minute. The more you do the more points you get. There is NO 60 requirement. By the way, I d like to see a woman doing 60 pu s in 1 minute. I mean proper pu s ... NOT girly pu s. :)
@professional7603
@professional7603 6 жыл бұрын
Pumpkin, I said it was IMPOSSIBLE for a girl. You are just making up things from your pathetic mind. Come on, be a man instead of bullshitting. Show me a link where a woman can do 60 pu and su.... You cant. You just bullshit. maybe u cant understand what you are told lol
@professional7603
@professional7603 6 жыл бұрын
the girls can do 8-9 sit ups in 12 seconds. However, according to your pathetic mind it must be 60 su in 1 minute. 60 sit ups in 1 minute means a sit up in every second. But those girls barely can do 8 sit ups in 12 second. Can u do math dumbass???? NONE of the girls there is doing a suit up in every second. Even the guy in front of camera did 4 sit ups in 6 seconds. So basically he cant do a sit up in every second either.... Basically it shows you are JUST BULLSHITTING :)))))))) go troll somewhere else... By the way, are you 5 ? LMAO !
@professional7603
@professional7603 6 жыл бұрын
Are you a women??? With such language you have a LONG way to go dumbass... By the way the link I gave shows the RECRUITS already HIRED. They are NOT getting tested or anything. They are the RECRUITS in the ACADEMY. With your stupid logic, NONE of them can do 60 su and pu, then how are they in the first place??? lol Obviously, you are too stupid to understand what the recruiter said. You have NO proof, no link, basically nothing! You just claim but can not support it anyway. No, Im not a female but like I said even the HIRED RECRUITS can not do 60. Even the guys. This proves that you are just bullshitting. Go and learn PROPER English first before even thinking into getting into a law enforcement job. Maybe I should talk like you... Are u 5? or are you homo sapiens???? LMAO

@KevinGDividend
@KevinGDividend 2 жыл бұрын
@@nikkobeezy5117 yes, running 2 miles is less effective than running uphill for 10 min... your legs get tired quickly but endurance is longer. So in the 1.5 miles your legs will begin to get tired way past a mile because the pressure built into them will make you feel lighter at long distances... I did my application for the LAPD 2 days ago too through the military liason. I'll be in the academy in April once I'm out of the military.

Thats the basic distance here in Brazil. We got make 1.5 miles, which is 2.4 Km in just 12 minutes. 35 Push Ups. 30 Sit ups in 45 seconds. 6 Pull ups. In some states, they put swing pool with 50 metres in 60 seconds or 400 metres sprint in 60 seconds. Of course there is others qualifi test before this one, but After all this, you'll be able to get into the Police academy as a recruit. Spend 6 months at basic training, then you got graduation and finally become a Cop
