thank you so so much I was able to fix my broken s key!! Unfortunately though before this video I tried to fix it myself and broke the keycap so badly it couldn't go back on, I just replaced it with some random key I never use though lol

Decided to order something for my E6510. which has a worn-off A keycap, hinge seems ok , L key does no longer hold in place (hinge seems ok but the clips in the cap are broken away) and a short left shift key which simply broke apart. (hinge also seems to be ok). The caps are often a problem over time on laptops as it seems, because that is threaded by pressing it so often, also worn off print and plastic becomes brittle over time.

Thank you. I had to deal with a key that popped off along with the 2-part clip under it. They are so small and I was having a hard time figuring out exactly how to get the clip pieces back together. Your video helped me but I had to keep freezing it to figure out exactly how they 2 pieces went together. I was wishing you had gone more slowly on showing how to put them together and given some spoken directions to point out how to tell which side went up on both pieces. It seemed like they were not flat on both sides and I had to wrestle with that. But I got it done by watching your instruction a few times. That key was sticking is why I popped it out and I cleaned under it before putting it back. It seems to be working fine now.
