Hello, I have this laptop and I opened it recently, I ended up noticing that it only has 1 slot of RAM and apparently it is DDR3, in some reviews I saw that it can be expandable up to 16 GB of RAM but I can't find the exact model of RAM for If you buy it, would you have any information? Do you know if it has any RAM soldered on the board? Mine only has a 4GB SSD but the cpuz says it has 8GB in total, I'm quite confused by this.

Hi, I think this model has built in 8 gb of ram and you actually can add additional ddr4 ram and as far as I know there is 16gb ddr3 single stick available, bit not sure if board can pull 24gb. But will take additional 8gb for sure. If you will google your complete laptop model, most likely you would be able to find complete specs of your device with complete specs which should tell you which ram speed will fit the best. Hello, possible that your laptop motherboard failed and does not recognize ssd. Also if you are installing new ssd, check settings in BIOS as legacy/uefi mode might need to be changed in order to install OS as on some models drive will not be visible.
