Lara Fabian was born in Belgium. The daughter of a Belgian father and an Italian mother. Until the age of five she lived on Sicily, an island in Italy. She is also very good at Italian. Also good French because she lived in the French speaking part of Belgium. She later moved to Montreal, Canada. If all goes well, she still lives there. Celine Dion is also from there. I think she had a lot more power a while ago than she does now. You should be looking for Lara with Love. That was her best live show she's ever given. I like her voice.

Lara Fabian (pronounced Fah-bian) is from Etterbek, Brussels. She trained at the Royal conservatory of Brussels and she is a fully trained lyric soprano with a range of three Octaves (from C5 to A5). she moved to Montreal when she finished her training when she was about 20 to pursue a music career. Before she moved to Quebec, She represented Luxemburg in 1988 in the Eurovision contest (other famous singer who have participated are ABBA and Celine Dion, among many others) then returned to Belgium later in her career to be with her parents. then in 2017 she returned permanently to Quebec although she still has family and a home in Belgium.

Funny that you talk about Celine Dion, they were both coming out almost at the same time, and ''competetion record label'' not themself but their team, as if Rene Angelil never loos, Lara saw her contract with label in the states put aside, she worked so hard to get where she is, and by herself. Writing and composing moste of her song, she is a MASTER VOICE controle. She speak 4 langage, sing in 21 and have kept her feet on the ground. (don't stated a fight for my comment, I'm from Quebec and love them both)

I first heared "I will love again" from her in some TV-Show in 2000, bought the CD and Adagio just was my favorite. For me she was kina like Celine 2.0, but sadly she wasn't pushed really by the industry and so i didn't heared much of her after that here in germany. Just until lately people suddenly re-discovered her.
