Actually the song is from french singer Serge Lama, and he simply put on paper how he felt about a toxic relationship he had with his girlfriend at that time. Lara is just so great telling the story and making it hers...Listen to the song J'taime live in 2002 Paris to see the reaction of the fans, then there's the songs Caruso or Adágio...they're brilliant...she sings wonderfully well....there are about 50 songs!!! C’est une très belle histoire d’amour heureuse puisque que les deux ne pouvaient pas choisir entre leurs passions & leur amour. But their is an Internationally known world class 4 member crossover vocal harmony group from South Korea called “Forestella” with millions of followers and they give an incredible performance of je suis Malade.
