Free will: They agree to fake date. Free will : gen was already getting jealous and Peter sensed it, but he still stuck to fake dating Lara Jean because he wanted to get to know her. Fate: they fall in love with each other for REAL. Free will: Lara Jean goes out to find Peter sitting alone in a hot tub waiting for gen. Free will: Peter was given the opportunity to choose between Gen and Lara Jean. One would think he'd choose gen since they have more history, but at the hot tub, despite waiting for gen (cuz he thought LJ didn't want him) he CHOSE Lara Jean ❤

Never seen the sequels, and I'm not the target demographic audience. Although I have seen an edited version of the first film on a reactor's channel(Due to copyright) and I have to agree with FriendlySpaceNinja LJ and Peter are incredibly manipulative people and are a garbage couple. And Jen should've went to prison for recording them in a hot tub. Also Lucus should've had more personality traits outside of his sexuality and give him more depth instead the shallow cliche he is.
