Thank you for the update Lara, having my hip replaced in a month and I’m terrified. Glad to see you’re doing great.

Don't be afraid. I had THR 3 months ago. No more pain. General Anaesthetic definitely helped apart from some not so nice after effects once back home.. Got over them in the first month..😊 Good luck to everyone going through surgery and afterwards. I hadn't realised what a big deal it going to be though. 😊

Don’t feel bad if you don’t have this quick a recovery. Anterior replacement has a quicker recovery but it’s not for all cases. Plus, she is relatively young and very fit.

I'm having one next week and I'm cool as a cucumber about it, not worried at all, no sweat whatsoever.

I can not believe within the first week that Lara was walking a mile a day. Actually I just had an anterior RHR, and I’m lucky to walk to the bathroom for the first week with my cane/walker. I mean I guess everyone heals differently? My doctor recommended not to do any kind of pt or exercise in the first 2 to three weeks, just walking. Which makes sense because I can’t see how anyone in hell can do any type of exercise the first week, lol, it will prevent the soft tissue from healing. I wish Lara would talk more about the type of surgery whether it was posterior or anterior and how she is healing/timespan than talking about her bling bling cane as to inform other people who might have the surgery. From the ice pack I see Lara having on her lap, looks more like an anterior procedure. I’m on my second week of surgery and I still need my cane and can’t put full weight on it, hopefully within another week or so I can walk on my own without the cane. I’m glad Lara has recovered and is doing the activities she loves, but it would be nice to post another video a year or so to see to what extent you are able to perform the same activities, in order to inspire other people to get the surgery. And that x ray in previous video before surgery, x ray looks more like wear and tear not hip dysplasia. Doctors are so quick to give false diagnosis and say it’s genetic, that’s BS. Bone on bone can also result from wear and tear, and knee and feet imbalance, length . Not necessarily being born with a condition that is bound to happen. Btw HSS is the best hospital to do hip and knee surgery.

I'll need hip surgery in the future due to a pass accident/ 12 hour surgery I think I'll do it sooner than later has the younger you are the quicker you heal! She doesn't look old at all!

Even though this was a long time ago I just can't believe how much of a family they are. I still can't believe that AMY THE NYMPHOMANIAC, could DISRESPECT ROBIN, AND THE REST OF THE COWORKERS. THE FUNNIEST THING IS THAT THERE WERE NYMPHOMANIAC SUPPORTERS WHO COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT SHE WAS NOT INVITED TO ROBINS ANNIVERSARY SHOW, DAMN THIS PERFECT EXAMPLE HOW STUPID THESE PEOPLE ARE (AS WE ALL KNOW IF YOU'RE A SUPPORTER OF THE NYMPO YOU ARE NOT ALL THERE) BUT THIS VILE, DISGUSTING, DISRESPECTFUL, WOMAN TURNED AROUND AND STABBED ROBIN IN THE BACK AFTER ROBIN SAVED HER LIFE, WHEN THE NYMPHO,AND THE PREDATOR LIED TO ROBIN ABOUT THE AFFAIR SHE THEN FORFEITED ALL HER RIGHTS TO ANYTHING TO DO WITH ABC.
