Met her at the NY Comic Con , comedic icon , I was in awe meeting her. I told her I had tickets to the original SNL but I was only 15 yrs old, you had to be 18 to get in , she didn’t know that

We needed more of her on Letterman. She was a female Chris Elliott. Brilliant sense for the absurd.

Early 80s still had elements of the elegant 70s. It kinda went fcked up by '85-'86 onwards.

@@LandersWorkshop yea true the early 80s was still technically the 70s if u think about it I would say the 80s didn't officially start until 83

What is the point? Letterman was still new, but his audience was the SNL type crowd. And she goes on with this? Too bad. Doesnt represent her talent. I have no idea what the 'clip' was supposed to be about.
@vanessapierson49132 жыл бұрын
the tv clip was really, truly awful. truly. the crap that passed for tv then.

So much talent wasted after she left SNL, back then switching venues after people knew who you were was taboo, once you were on a show for a long time you became unemployable.
