I was running low on my proteins, but one of my local grocery stores put the chicken quarter bags on clearance for $3 each! I bought quite a few, and now my freezer is stocked up! My fiancée insisted I tell you this because he thinks you'd be proud, haha

Money saving hack!! My hubby works at a spice factory that manufacturers for Thrive, Aldi, Walmart, etc. They are all literally the same thing/blend. They stop the machine partway through the runs to switch out the labels & don't change anything else. 😊

Random tip: get the yogurt cups when they are marked down. Stick a popsicle stick right through the foil cover. Pop it in the freezer. The next day I have froyo pops for my kids. Especially good in summer.

I'd be making carnitas from that pork!!!! Re: Bacon: We *LOVE* the Sunnyvalley thick cut bacon around here. Winco sells it in 5-6 pound packages that are weighed and labeled from their meat/deli counter, but you can also find it in 1.5 and 3 lb packages. It's expensive at around $5 per pound, but it's amazing and we get about 3 meals out of a pound of bacon, so I don't mind too much. Plus the bacon grease is neutral enough to save (as opposed to like an applewood smoked bacon or a maple flavor, etc.).

You should try a recipe another KZfaqr did. Put the pork loin in the crock pot, mix a box of stove top, can of cream of chicken, and am container of sour cream. Put this mixture on top of pork and cook on low for six hours. Turns out delicious
